2:28 that just tells you that Kawhi didn't really miss time in basketball and continued working on his game. If he stopped, then we wouldn't see the same Kawhi right now 🤷
Not replacing Bruce Brown, KCP and Jeff green is the core of DEN issues.
DEN has 6-6.5 NBA players on its roster. In POs – thats clearly not more than 6.
With no bench, no wing defenders, no perimeter defenders – good teams with guys like Kawhi or harden can do whatever they want.
We saw this coming 2 years ago when BB and Jeff left, and then last off-season when KCP left.
We were talking about it, screaming, cursing…
To no avail.
Its a shame that 2 years of goat`s prime were wasted in such manner, but if Jokic is ok with that, so be it. As an insult to injury – DEN contracts and assets for potential trades are just not good (its hard to imagine anything of value coming to DEN in next 2 years) – DEN can`t close the holes that Kroenkes and Booth had dug since 2023.
BC of that I didn`t give a single cent to Kroenkes in last 18 months – no tickets, no merch, no tv, no subscriptions – nothing. Saved a pretty penny. Youd be surprised.
Eh. If Jokic decides to move – I`ll be happy to watch him in a real team/org. If not – eh. Its his choice.
Jokic is leader he scored triple-double by being preshured by two or three players often, Lenard is just scoring machine. Denver need one more player to rise up to the task and will go to next round.
If the Clippers need KL to drop 40 to beat the nuggets every game then the Nuggets will be more than ok

It was one possesion game, although Clips played extremely well, why are the Nuggets in trouble? It could have easily been 2-0 nuggets

Shaq nailed it with this take though, Kawhi is rested because he plays half of every season, and Jokic had way too many turnovers this game. Still the best halftime show of any sport I have ever seen, as they all come across as just real people, and one of the few reasons why I watch the nba still.
