Cade is better than Brunson
We lost to the Spurs because of an alltime clutch shot by Robert Horry to steal Game 5. Seriously, we were up by 2 and Rasheed inexplicably doubled Ginobli after the inbounds in the waning seconds of the game leaving Horry open. If he just stays on Horry the best the Spurs could do would be to tie and force OT.
Thibs is an insanely overrated coach. He won’t adjust, he won’t do the common sense thing, he’ll go down with the ship being stubborn instead of succeeding by being flexible.

You know who else struggled shooting the ball? The Pistons 2 best shooters going a combined 2-17 (1-14 on 3’s). They were 22% as a team from 3 which was significantly lower than the Knicks, but they found a way to win the game…without their best interior defender.

Shocked..??? Even after the Pistons had already beat the Knicks 3 times, beat the Lakers 2 times, beat the Celtics by 20, & also beat Cleveland. You couldn't have been watching Piston games, or otherwise you wouldn't be shocked cuz in the 3 wins vs the Knicks Cade scored 20, 36, & 36 again & also in one of those Jalen Duren didn't even miss going against Kat he was 9 for 9 from the field. Nothing should be a shock cuz this isn't the Pistons from last year, going from 14 wins to 44 is shocking but definitely not the way they're playing right now. They beat the Knicks yesterday with only making 6 three pointers in the game shooting 22% from three as a team.
It's time to take the gloves off, Josh needs to come off the bench, Achiua can have some minutes and Wright as well. I know they are not savours but the Knicks could use some size and they have proven to be capable players, and not using Payne is coaching malpractice, the entire game was coaching malpractice.
Absent one quarter, it’s more like the Knicks are hanging with the Pistons. The Knicks have more individual talent, but thus far, the Pistons have been the better team with the better coach.

What's crazy is that the most effective lineup for the Knicks has KAT and Mitch in it. The most effective player was Mitch, who had the highest +/- and he only played 20 minutes.
