Probably would have to win the series to lock it in, but I think he deserves the shot as head coach next year. Would much rather see him go for it than them going for a big name coach like Bud, etc.
I was a Malone guy, there were things I liked about him and things I didn’t. One thing I wasn’t a huge fan of his press conferences. It felt like I was listening to a sales pitch most of the😊 time

Coach Adelman reminds me a little of Sean Payton. Ever notice how hard Payton thinks about his answers. Adelman does that too. He answers every question thoroughly. Maybe he'll grow out of that, but Payton hasn't. Maybe he's just a basketball junky who is really curious. I like him, and the players do to. IdK who would be better. Time will tell. He's done a good job so far.
He out coached the most overrated coach in the nba named Ty Lue. And his team will advance in the next round.

What is the deal with coaches in pro basketball and football being sons and or grandsons of former coaches? I’m always suspicious of nepotism, but this makes no sense. There are great coaches out there who probably will never get a chance because they are not part of this “club”. I think it’s great that this young coach values the insight and experience of his old coach. One thing I noticed is that the Joker really understands the game. He could coach, hell he may be coaching now.
