Greatest play in player of all-time. Thats a good thing ..but also bad. Especially in the East where I think the teams at the top are better but the middle is way thinner. Might be tougher to make the Finals in the East but should be much easier to make the playoffs….even 2nd round.

Trae should have been traded years ago instead of the hawks trading to bring in dejonte Murray. You cant have your best player be a borderline all-star and expect to win a championship

Hawks will be fine. The emergence of Jalen Johnson being an all star caliber player, Dyson Daniels being a DPOY candidate(who will continue to develop his offense), and Risacher who had a really good rookie year at just 20 yrs old, that’s a nasty big 4 starting group.(I think you kick Okongwu back to the bench or trade him cause his defense isn’t good enough to start him imo). No reason to blow up a team that won 40 games without their second best player and multiple injuries to bigs thus ruining their paint defense. Hawks are on the rise again. 2026 they will be a top 6 seed mark my words.
Hawks won 40 games this year without their second best player for half the season. Saying they won’t win more than 45 is asinine.
Trae will be perfect for teams like Heat, Magic, Rockets, Wolves. Teams with already good defense.
Trae is just a bit too expensive, for a guy so small (disadvantage on D).
Trae as a Spur was so obvious but they decided to trade for Fox (which they will regret but that’s another thing). Now he’s just f*cked and the best thing for him is to wait for Free Agency imo

he can't defend, shoots at a low percentage at all range especially 3s and just hold on to the ball for too long hence his high assist numbers. players voted him the most overrated and i am pretty sure most gm see the same so good luck to the atlanta in finding a trade. lol

Why does nobody mention the Raptors as a trade target? Could be IQ or BI and a smaller contract plus a pick or two, I think that’s enough to get Trae.
As a Raptors fan, I don’t know how I feel about it, but this is a decent roster:

Maybe they get some lottery luck and also add a top-4 pick to that as well, could be an interesting squad next year.

I think you are overlooking Jalen Johnson. He should be there best player as soon as next year, which makes Trae as a 2nd option creator and 3-point shooter sound a lot nicer. Plus I think Risachier has a higher ceiling than most people want to admit.
