Many great memories I had as a Jazz fan growing up was when D Will was on the team he had so many good highlights for me. Same with AK47, and also same with when Paul Millsap started to breakout as a player the year after Boozer went to the Bulls especially the game against the Heat when he went off from 3! Other moments was when we got Spida who was amazing for us! The duo of him with Gobert was great times as a Jazz fan. Hopefully this year we can land somewhere in the top 3 and get a building block for the future and potentially our next future all star.
Your whole premise is delusional. The stated goal, is not to get an All-Star player, or to get to be the 4th or 5th seed. The Jazz were doing just fine at getting the fifth seed by hiring vet players and playing hard basketball. The goal is to win a franchise a championship. No one moves the needle on that in this draft. Maybe maybe maybe Cooper flag turns out to be a top 25 player. Risking it all, for a 14% chance had a guy who in all reality is probably a top 100 player.
I don't understand why we would focus on Harper when his teammate ace Bailey would be the better pick with the higher ceiling. Meaning if we don't get flagg at 1 then at 2/3 we should be drafting ace Bailey not Harper yes ace is raw but he's 6'10 and can shoot contested from anywhere kinda like a KD

Utah obviously doesn't garner much national media attention attention, and I wouldn't want to come off as whining. But I do sorta wonder if Ryan Smith can use his platform to state certain facts, like since the current lottery ball format Jazz have never had the Jazz pick 1, or move up, either stayed or moved back, or coin flip…. probably comes off to whinny
