If AD was not that injury prone and he was still up there in the MVP discussion/NBA first team, this would've been an okay trade. But since he is no longer that type of player, more pieces should've been asked for by the Mavs to push through with this trade. But what's done is done. We can only hope for the best as Kyrie gets healthy and decides to stay with the Mavs.
They need some female representation on this show. They are just showing true colors at espn.
in a sad dumpster fire of a failing republic, where the only meaningful metric is $$$, why is it hard to understand billionaires buy and sell millionaires every day?
I don’t live in USA, but every dog in my neighborhood knows how important is Luka for fans
At least he openly acknowledged the 'outrage'…not in denial…can't be easy to sleep
In my opinion it’s 10x worse because Nico won’t own it. Just say you and Luka didn’t get along. Not this BS about not knowing he was loved by the fanbase? Cmon clown
He need to shut up at this point
Nico is a complete joke and looks ridiculous in these interviews. He didn't understand the importance of Luka to the fans. I've heard it all. Mavs fans should know by now that we can't trust the front office management and then you raise ticket prices. Seriously!!! No more of my money will be donated. Believe that !!!
Luka is the reason why Dallas teammates were known by fans
Mavs owners did not want to pay Luka
He says “I did know”
Who’s we he keeps saying we he doesn’t wanna take full credit
Nico has no ground to stand on. He was a fool and trading Luka to his good friend in LA is also questionable.
AD is injury prone, he is never healthy. Which is a shame…. Cause he is a great player.
So Nico traded Luka because he was injury prone then had to explain that his team would’ve been better if they had stayed healthy 😂 dude traded him cause his wife wanted to smash
The only way Dallas can move on, simply Fire Nico. If the owners really have power then fire him, but they don't care about the Mavs.
FIRE NICO
If was a 5th we would all be drunk
If he brought in like 10 picks, maybe he could be forgiven. For a risk like a hurt AD was wild.
lowkey kinda want to see mavs win a ring next season. its actually gonna be so hillarious. but i doubt its happening.
Carlos bozer is an idiot
Sounds like he had something against luka besides weight
Lively…?
If you dont know now you know🤣
“I didn’t know he was that popular w the fans”, there’s no way that he thought this unless he surrounds himself w yes men- this is like watching the emperors new clothes
Wow the media is holding the GM accountable for once.
"didn't know Luka was important"? that' so BS!
Dude Luka is in LA now..let’s move on pls
Im surprised noone laughed during NH's interview 😂😂
mavs did not beat denver they beat Minnesota come on Carlos …
Nico Harrison is living proof that literally any one of us could be the GM of an NBA team.🤣🤣🤣.
Nico you are stupid you should be fire. If wasn’t for Luka you wouldn’t have made the finals. You were the gm for the last 3 years oh my word and now you pissed dirk off and Cuban left. In the words of Stephen a smith you need to be drug tested
Dallas did not beat Denver last year it was Minnesota
AD and Kyrie are always getting injured. It’s a known fact. You can’t count on them because of their risk of injury.
Nico Harrison did nothing wrong.
My God, you cannot depend on AD and Kyrie bro. Lebron had to go Godmode to get this man a chip😂
Buzz talking about the Nico`s dissrespect, how about saying Luka`s name wrong??? Its Dončić… not dončik!!!
There’s absolutely no way Anthony Davis can stay healthy for 82 games + deep playoff run next year as he’s another year older..
they’re gon have to limit him to 40 to 60 games just to have a chance to make a playoff run work..
I have questions about Kyrie staying healthy for a playoff run in the future now too another year older & another major injury + he has a player option he might not even wanna be a Mav after all this..
There’s no doubt in my mind an under the table condition on this deal was when Nico’s GM days are over he’ll absolutely always have a job somewhere in that Lakers front office.
Not only is he the second biggest Dallas star he’s maybe the second biggest nba star right now
She is really bad.
People keep trying to brush off Nicos culpability here.
It was already reported that the team governor laughed when he originally broached the idea. So it was HIS idea.
Sure they had to sign off, but it originated in his head.
If you read the other stories about how he treated Casey Smith and his relationship with Dirk, none of this should be surprising.
Also, even under the theory he was forced to do it, doesn't justify the way he did it.
The way he went about the trade, the return he got, how he treated Luka on the way out.
So we can keep trying to come up with excuses for Nico. But he's telling us everything we need to know.
This was his idea, the owner took him at his word thinking Nico was some basketball savaant that knew more than him, and now he's living with it.
Carlos boozer should be fired
Let's get something straight. Patrick Dumont is not a basketball guy. When Nico went to with the Luka trade he shrugged his shoulders and said "You're the basketball guy.". He called the finals the "championship games". He's not a basketball fan. This was Nico's idea. But beyond that.. the only reason Patrick Dumont was the Team Governor in the FIRST PLACE, was because the NBA blocked his mother in law from being Team Governor over her political views. So if the Mavs wanna be mad at someone, be mad at Adam Silver over his incessant virtue signaling.

He has a lot in common with the United Healthcare dude
