  1. Let’s see. Too many turnovers first half. Too many fouls first half. Relied on Tatum too much and when he had to rest, we dug deeper in a hole. We played the Magic’s style of play (which is the only way they can realistically win) again, but tonight we were down instead of up and couldn’t comeback.

Look at the second quarter. Good defense, pushing the pace, and getting shots. Look at the second half. 34 points. Slowed. Stagnant. Celtics fans we know this is the way we lose usually.

  2. Like Eddie said too many turnovers and not moving the ball enough…hoping we bounce back on Sunday

  3. When Tatum has the ball with Wagner defending, why do they bring Banchero into a screen to force a switch? And then Tatum goes 1v1 against Banchero? It seems like Wagner is a better iso target than Banchero… what gives?

  4. It’s a battle of attrition, Scalabrine. That’s how you win chips, by NOT being forced to gas yourself out when the other team playing is playing dirty and trying to force you to play fast.

And yeah, bad referring was a pretty huge factor in losing by 2. But if that’s Magic at their best & Boston at their worst, still on for gentleman’s sweeping their way through the playoffs like last year — because to repeat, it’s a battle of attrition for the ring. Lower PACE 4-1s &!4-2s are better than the rest of going full-tilt and trying to get 4-0s and extra time off. As long as the first 2 rounds doesn’t go to 7, it’s a good omen considering Magic are a tough matchup for Cs even when they’re not playing to wear, tear & injure

  5. Refs being horrible aside, Mazulla was horrible in the 3rd. Made zero adjustments whatsoever
