Luka dragged em to a contention last year and this year the results are………😢😮. Dumb dumb dumb
Kyrie, Klay, and Davis never were the main engine on their teams. They needed an engine to win. It’s rare for a team to win with no main engine. Add to that they are all on the other side of prime and two (Kyrie and Davis) have been prone to injury and you begin to wonder what Nico is smoking.
Klay, Kyrie and AD may be championship caliber…. in 2016-2020!!
The question is, you can have five of the best players, but if you don’t have a decent bench, you’re screwed!

The amount of simpletons asking for Nico to be fired is astounding, lol.. Nico was following orders. plain and simple. Had he not done the trade (using his Pelinka connection), they would've brought someone else in to do it.

I have been a Mavs fan for 25+ years. I can't anymore. Everything I love about the team is gone. Cuban was somehow a larger part of that community than I thought. The adelson's don't align with me in any way, shape or form. Im now a Lakers fan.
I’m rooting for the players of Dallas (Kyrie, AD, Lively, Klay, etc.) to bring a championship to Dallas..

IMHO- They won't fire Nico because he would then be able to speak about what really happened on the Luka trade. There is not a GM in the league dumb enough to make this deal, including Nico. The league had a 9 billion dollar TV deal hanging to get signed but the time the TV ratings were crashing. They needed to make the most popular franchise relevant again to bring ratings up. The Luka deal gets done, the TV deal gets signed.
Still unknown- What do the Mavs owner get? More will come out over the summer…
There is zero chance that team is a championship team even with everyone completely healthy. They would be lucky to win a single round.

Nico talking about team health like Anthony Davis isn’t always injured. He gave away Luka for an aging glass giant. Anyone could have told him relying on Anthony Davis’s health was a bad choice. He didn’t even get Austin Reaves in this trade.

A core of AD, Kyrie, and Klay isn't as good as a core of Luka, Kyrie, and Klay. Not now, and certainly not in the future.

The issue is that the new lineup requires the players to be healthy, not an insane ask… except when it's Kyrie and AD. It's like trading for Kawhi and then saying you needed someone on your team who can play 60 games a year… make it make sense.

How did i as a fan of the Mavs know exactly the impact of Luka and Nico as the GM of the Mavs didn't know the impact and his comment is he thinks he has done a really good job here. I'm missing something!!!!! Fire him immediately !!!

Everyone knows that team with kyrie, klay and AD is injury prone. And cant stay healty. That window has closed. Next year is a waste, all those draft pick you gota give up. Even fat outa shape luks can take you to the playoffs by himself.

This Mavs team cannot compete for a championship without Luka Dončić. Luka made them way better as they are. Now they ar just ordinary role players. Against Grizzlies PJ and Lively scored 0 points without Luka otherwise numbers of Laker players are now better with Luka.
