Why the Mavericks NEED More Playmaking Next Season
Even while superstar Kyrie Irving was active, the Dallas Mavericks sorely missed the playmaking Luka Doncic brought to the team. Now, especially with Kyrie set to miss as many as 50+ games next season while recovering from a torn ACL and several other key guards from this year’s rotation becoming free agents or potentially being traded, the Mavs need playmakers more than ever. The DLLS Mavs crew breaks it all down.

Mac McClung. Why not give him a shot? Also, just give the starting job to Brandon Williams.
kyrie will be back but he won't be Kyrie. he will lose some or a lot of his athleticism which he heavily relies on.
Gosh I miss Kyrie😢even if he comes back at 90% he’s a better PG than most of the league. Ain’t worried.
What would it take to get Ty Jerome?
Williams as the backup, sign CP3, get Exum back. and get like a Alexander Walker( that kind of player as well) , TY Jerome is a good name, but is more of a combo or pure point? With the bigs & wings the team has, more of a facilitator and set up kind of player is needed, till Kyrie is back that is. Also trade Naji & Max for a more elite wing?
Find a way to open the MLE and convince Fred VanVleet to sign
