All reports say that the request was made by Nico not by the owner. Stephen A is right for once.
If you take the roster of before Nico's arrival and after in every parallel universe looking at the team he might have done a good job, but unfortunately not in this one. NOT IN THIS UNIVERSE!

I never trust SAS sources lol. The Owner wanted Luka gone for whatever reason. NICO don’t have that kind of power. There’s no way my superstar takes us to the Finals a year ago and the GM comes to me about trading him for a bag of chips. I would fire the GM on the spot. This was the owners decision.
