trading for Giannis would only make the raptors a middle of the pack teams like the current Bucks team. this is no different than idea of trading for kevin durant a few years ago. look what happened to the Suns!!!!!!!!!

No,hyperbole.Giannis is one dimensional player,who is age 30 ish with a max contract, fully extended by the Bucks. Why Gods name will the Raptors front office make the trade. The Bucks will demand Barnes as a starter and half the roster that is good and maybe picks.Barnes is not a lights out shooter neither is Giannis, so we’ll running deficit roster with two ball dominant,rim runner type players and that’s your championship core moving forward. Hey let’s see if Shaq will come out of retirement too😅😂

I think I might be the minority here but I think we have what we need right now and then you add the high draft pick decisions. Mind you we haven't seen a long stretch of games with our starters and we still haven't seen BI. I think that is a championship worthy group of guys when you add this rookie class of dogs, Gradey, and Ochai. The tricky part is RJ's contract matures just as they are competitive so his timeline is one year out of sequence in a way and he'll be going for nothing just as this team become experienced enough to be contenders. That's why dealing with the RJ contract now makes sense. What it means is that trading RJ is the most viable path and I think with RJ we convert to two good bench role players, promote Gradey or Jakobe game matchup depending to starter roles. Also I think Raptors might trade down their draft to other teams more desperate to move up. If you look at the roster we have a young big in Ulrich, we have Castleton as backup, we have Poetl, and there's always an undervalued big somewhere in this league. I think Masai was just throwing a curve ball to spectators with his need for a young big talk because I think he wants to start a bid for his draft maybe a way to get an undervalued big and a 2nd round high draft next year.
Giannis to Toronto is something Im not a fan but I can see this is happening. But that still depends on the draft pick and quality of players available this offseason.
Are we actually doing this again? Holding out for Giannis did nothing good for the Raps last time…

If Giannis is coming to Toronto that means that bricklayer bum Barnes is going to Milwaukee. That's like killing two birds with one stone. Getting a superstar and getting rid of a bust.
