Spurs Trading Their Draft Picks?
The San Antonio Spurs own the 8th pick and the 14th pick in the upcoming draft but unless the Spurs get Cooper Flagg they should look to trade the picks to upgrade the roster around Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox.

Picks 1-4 is too valuable in this draft. No one would trade for it unless it’s a crazy package.

if we dont luck out moving up in draft then Maybe trade the 8th pick and draft asa newell with the 14th pick . Devin vassell and the 8th pick could be a great offer for someone
…they could draft for a 3-D player a back up center or a solid player to come off the bench…we have to keep the 8th pick maybe trade the 14th pick for a future pick…I think we need one more good young player cause I'm not to high on vassell or sochan…we need a vassell or sochan replacement just in case…sochan has been getting back spasms this season and I think he'll miss a lot of games through out his career cause of it…
i think if kon is sitting at our first pick in the first round they draft him cause he meets our needs with shooting but if he is taken then i can see them trade it or they might be high on some of the bigs like derick queen or cmb, i think cmb can be a sochan replacment hes only 2 years younger and get him on a rookie deal which allows us to package sochan in a trade

We’re probably losing Mamu to a team that’ll pay him and we’re probably gonna trade Wesley and Brahnam to free up cap space. CP3 and Barnes won’t be here in 2 or 3 yrs so I think we need Rasheer Fleming to replace Barnes role and add Carter Bryant who’s looking like the HEB brand Cooper Flagg. If we can add Naz Reid in free agency that would be sweet. Maxime Reynaud with our 39th pick would help incase Bassey can’t stay healthy.

The spurs are still rebuilding it makes zero sense to trade any picks whatsoever. Rushing your rebuild is a very bad idea. Fox is inefficient and isn't an ideal playmaker for Wembanyama. I would even draft a guard potentially if I were the spurs if a guard was the best player on my board for where they're picking. Why would you rush a rebuild for a guy who is only 21 years old? You can easily draft and develop players next to him.
If we can get kon knueppel at 8 I say we pull the trigger, otherwise I'm fine with trading.
