I love great 2-way players, but I want the Spurs to create a defensive monster; the likes of which the NBA has never seen. And I want a bench that is a nightmare for opposing teams. Great defense creates easy offense; and wins.
They're not blowing it up right before they forfeit their picks.

Another option is a three way trade where the Spurs give ATL their picks, ATL trades Trae to a 3rd team, and the third team sends a very strong player to the Spurs. A lot of teams are looking for an all star that the Spurs don't have to trade. An example, not what I'm suggesting, KD for Trae, but the Spurs don't give up anything other than the ATL picks. Maybe a player for cap space.
Depending on where we land, we might want to package the picks for a A-tier 3pt specialist or a big that can bang against the likes of Joker & Embiid. Bassey, Mamu, & Biz are not it (let’s resign Mamu anyway). Throw in Vessel’s very appealing contract and make an even bigger splash.
Spurs need a nasty rebounder like ben wallace or rodman they're playing too soft
Atlanta not blowing it up unless Spurs are involved in a 3 team trade that facilitates their picks being traded back to them. Them blowing it up literally doesn’t make sense. Be better man
