If the media wouldn't have decided Pritchard was 6th man of the year before the season started to grandfather in a gift for the Celtics winning the title in an injured Eastern conference, people would have seen Ty Jerome has the biggest impact off the bench.
I think the Cavs and Celtics aren't particularly close at this point. Cleveland is clearly ahead of Boston from what I've seen.

I'm so happy for Donovan Mitchell – he's been such a consistently high performer for years and years while the Cavs were a middling team and he's finally got a squad around him and getting a chance to show out.
2nd round will more clearly place them. I think the Heat were just a broken team this year after all the drama. I don't put too much stock into someone pummeling them.

Cavs fan here in NE Ohio. As much as I think the Cavs can beat Boston, it will come down to their mental toughness. The Celtics are tougher mentality and are a better team. But the Cavs can win it. They just need to have things go their way. Hopefully the refs won't let Tatum and co. push off every play.

After the Cavs came back from 25-3 to beat Boston they put it on cruise control for the rest of the season. Stayed healthy and rested. Now theyâre back and they destroyed a heat team most people picked to win atleast 1-2 games.

Iâm glad you mentioned that players feeling empowered is why the offense is so great. When a player knows he can shoot any shot he wants without the fear of getting benched. This makes teams very difficult to defend. In the past role players would never shoot the types of contested and early in the shot clock jumpers they shoot in todayâs game.

Let be honest , if the Cavs were playing playing the Magic instead of the Heat , they would still be playing a series , Miami is 37 win teams , they are bad and only made it because the East is a bad at the bottom of the conference, they were the 10 seed by record

Was also impressive what they did to the heat the last 6 quarters but I canât make any assumptions about there playoff ceiling until next round
This Heat roster would be a 50 loss team had they not played the first 20-30 games with butler
