You cannot fathom a world we’re a pro athlete that struggles to stay in NBA shape keeps getting injured? You might be watching Luka’s window slamming shut right before your eyes but somehow you cannot fathom him slowly fading into the background. You are weird.

I underestimated last years mavericks team as well. Specifically the fit between Luka, Gafford and lively. That last year's Mavs supporting cast is so much better than the Lakers supporting cast it's not that close. Especially when you look at roster construction. Three ball handlers and no big is maybe the dumbest team composition I've ever seen someone have faith in. And it was like 50% of NBA fans or at least a really loud minority that had faith in this terrible Lakers team this year. And then to have people claim the Lakers were a good matchup for the wolves was laughable. A small team that can't defend vs another team that's larger, can defend, and has about an equal offense. Plus finch is a way better coach than jj. Like I'm just so confused how everyone was so led astray. I was called crazy when I said they weren't even the most likely los Angeles team to make the finals.
At this stage, from the evidence of what we have seen, Luka could turn into James harden very quickly. Puts up great numbers but his play style is not synonymous with winning at the ultimate level.
