His salary is the issue as it will be 15-20+ million he will be looking for if the Bulls doesn't extend him. Also the fact that the Bucks will be monitoring that market too. Wouldn't be against him joining as its a good 12 million dollar deal for a player who knows how to play aggressive as a point guard attacking the basket but Lonzo Ball might be a cheaper option and fulfill a role as a backup point on this team.
I don't think that's the direction Nico wants to take the Mavericks. Any trade he makes will likely only benefit the other team. Im waiting for Nico to trade PJ Washington, Daniel Gafford, Derek Lively, Nasi Marshall, Kyrie Irving and infinity draft picks to the Lakers for one of their janitors, and the guy that puts the cheese on the nachos.
