The NBA playoffs this year have been one of the most watched over the past few years. Were witnessing epic matchups such as Lakers vs Wolves, Nuggets vs Clippers, Rockets vs Warriors. One series though thats been so lopsided so far has been the OKC Thunder vs Memphis Grizzlies series. With the NBA playoffs full of stars like Luka Doncic, LeBron James, Nikola Jokic, Steph Curry, Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler, Anthony Edwards, Jayson Tatum, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, it is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the OKC Thunder who appear to be locks to make to the NBA finals and probably win the NBA championship. Oklahoma City has had a historic regular season as the Thunder recorded the 2nd highest net rating in history only behind Michael Jordan and his Bulls team.
Now in the playoffs, the Thunder are once again dominating. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, Lu Dort, Isaiah Hartenstein, Alex Caruso, and the rest of OKCs core have put up a 70 point differential versus Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies after the first two games of their series, which is again the second highest point differential produced by any playoff team after 2 series games. But will OKC sweep the Grizzlies, and will they be able to beat either Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets or Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers? And if they do, will they surpass a Lakers team with Luka Doncic and LeBron James? After that, will the Thunder actually beat teams like the Celtics or the Cavs to win the NBA title?

The grizzlies are the worst team in the playoffs in the west by a good margin. They fell off a cliff after all Star break. Let’s see OKC play the clippers next round and see how it goes.
