Sad to say my prediction of Jalen being exposed has come true. I wanted to trade him before now while he still had some value, but now that value is in the gutter. He might have a great game in game 5, but at this point it's pretty much over. Only way he can redeem himself is if he averages over 30ppg in 3 games in a row to win the series (or at least get it to game 7 and lose in game 7). Sengun is legit though, he belongs. Jabari actually needs to be used more, he has a play style that translates to the playoffs. It's not just effort based, he actually has unguardable shots. Amen will be fine once he gets that free throw middie down.
And we got silly people on clutchfans proposing we trade Sengun for Giannis. Stubborn Ime better go with different lineups for g5 I hope he watches this podcast or hires you as his offensive assistant. I think it's time to let Cam take JG's spot next season if JG can't perform in g5.
All the missed free throws, and stupid fouls that Tori and Brooks had on Jimmy Butler that gave him free throws towards the end of the shot the shoot was a huge reason why this team loss this game. Brooks seems to always make bonehead plays at crucial time the game. The Rockets shot 58% from the free throw line, that’s 14 of 24 free throws.

The stats have shown all year that Amen and Jalen paired together are quite bad. Two non shooters as your primary initiators is a recipe for disaster. The reality is that the Rockets are between a rock and a hard place. Jabari can't keep up with the Warriors in space right now. Amen can't shoot. Jalen can't do much of anything. Ime threw up on himself with his handling of players this year unfortunately. Jalen should've been benched a long time ago and Reed should've been given more run during the year. If Stone doesn't go out and at the minimum get a Jalen Green alternative for the SG spot we're screwed again next year. Realistically he needs to be gone for multiple reasons. Some beyond basketball.
Jalen Green is a sixth man at best…The dude is not a leader and shy away under spotlights.
Sorry i disagree about your Amen take. He is Curry primary defender, he goes to the bench when Steph is resting. Obviously that will effect his on/off +/-. Adding Jabary to the limeup meaning that Jalen or Fred will be on Curry, thats an immediate L.

Nice channel brother, everything is clear, concise and well articulated. I'm a warrior fan from the bay area and I'll be honest, its easy for warrior fans to hate on the rockets because of how tough the harden era teams were. But stepping back and viewing Houston this year, they surprised the whole league. Great regular season and #2 seed, but tough playoff matchup from an experience perspective. I think Udoka tried to get too crafty. We'll see tonite what happens
Id rather Reed Shepherd and/or Cam Whitmore empty the clip. Not Jalen. Too many people say Jalen is the only one on the team who can get his own shot…False! He is not that guy. After 4 years of only succeding against subpar defensive teams, Jalen will never be that guy. Believing in Jalen is like Believing Fox News.
Problem is Jabari isn’t a role player he should be starting and more involved in the offense. He doesn’t have to dribble, he’s 6’10 why isn’t he coming off of pin downs or screens.

Amen is having a bad series because Udoka doesn't adjust the team with the lineup that it really works. He used the same starting five that starts the game badly into the second half… We lost by 18-1 I don't think that is on Amen the problem is on Udoka for not know the BASIC OF ADJUSTMENTS.
Amen in this series should have been play as a Backup point guard for Fred VanVleet and Jabari as a Starter. But Udoka is too dumb to see that.
Amen in the second unit playing as a point guard without Draymond on the court could hurt Golden State because they don't have anyone on the court that can stop Amen.

Amen playing like a SF or PF and doesn't work. In one of our bad streaks this season Amen was playing in the PF ou SF along with Dillon we lost consecutively because. This lineup can't guard the paint. Could work at home because the environment is in our favor. But away from home doesn't work. We lost the 2 games away because of the runs against that lineup. 18-1 in the second half 16-4 in the first half.
That's where we lost the game.
Even if rockets were average at the line this series they would be up 3-1 thats how bad the fts have been
Sengun is overrated Big Time! Yet Jalen takes all the blame! Sengun shot 12-28; missed a thousand free throws and straight up scared of Draymon. If Ime gets enough nuts to sit Sengun down at the end of games. The Rockets could win!!

Warriors fan here. Why don't they play Jabari more? he's one of the few players who can consistently score against the dubs. He's good from 3 as well

Our current starting lineup hasn't had a great net rating all year. Don't matter to Ime though.
As for Jalen……. It's tough. I still think the kid can figure it out, but it's hard to see it happening right now.

I don't want this to get buried in the comments but I did say that Draymond Green being one of the best defenders ever is cap.
I'll stand by that even though you said I can talk to the brick wall here's the reasoning why.
In 2019-2020 Draymond had no elite Wing defender by his side either be klay or KD that year he was on his own and the warriors won 15 games and his defensive rating was less than the average for the entire league. At 110.1 and 110.6 was the average that year for an NBA player
If you're going to be calling somebody one of the greatest defenders ever you need to have an ability to affect the game even through injuries and not having your best players and still affect the game he was a subpar defender that year so yeah that's cap.
I will give you that he is one of the greatest to ever talk how good he is, that is a fact.
