Hopefully this upcoming season will be a much better ride. The roster needs to be improved 💯 under Christie and Perry
Vivek says no rebuilds allowed in Sacramento we must stay mid in the play in range every year……
Matt, I just don't know if I can stomach watching another year of Zach Lavine and Demarr Derozen on this team.
Trading demar and not resigning Lyles is 100% the same exact team and running back
If Scott Perry is smart, he will be hitting up the Bucks, Magic and Pelicans because they have two things in common, they all need a high-power offensive threat and they all have pieces the kings need. The Kings have at least 2/3 of those high-power offensive players.
Whats the point of rebuilding what are you getting for sabonis demar … you have to keep monk or lavine for tickets maybeeee 2 first round picks that aren’t great value.. you dont have a paul george on this team to get a boat load of picks not even a gobert or donovan mitchell … the best value for fox was 2024 summer
Trade Demar,Sabonis,Lavine and get a bunch of 2031 first rd picks that way we can add them to the minnesota 1st we got for Fox😅
That’s the only reason Vivek hired Perry and promoted Christie.
The Timberwolves can only offer Naz Reid $21 million. If we put up a bit more we can trade DeRozan and another player there to get him to give Naz a better contract granted if he wants to move.
Trade for Giannis
More Sacramento Kings buffoonery!!!
They need a damn point guard
Giving so,some a shot at PG and then pairing them with Derozan and Lavine isn’t really giving hem a shot
I don't know if they are handcuffed. They might be on the wait listfor Lavine and Sabonis, DeRozan and Monk are capable of being moved and plenty gotten back for them.
As for the point guards in free agency, Chris Paul as a vet for the bench makes plenty of sense.
Now, as a starting point guard, we don't need a De'Aaron Fox type. Say we signed Chris Paul as the backup and brought in Malcolm Brogdon as the starter. Would we be great at the position? No. Would we be better as a whole? Yes. Especially when trading DeRozan. For maybe 2 guys and a Second to make the second unit better. Use some money to go and grab a Small Forward put more on Keegan Murray to be the second option to Zach Lavine. Sabonis seems to be a 3rd option type of guy on offense. Not a number 2. Murray needs to step up if he wants that big time type of extension. So having some good role players can improve the team.
I am not saying in year one we will be great. Only that we can be good enough to be a 6-8 seed instead of a 9-10 seed. Year two is when it can go from Good to Great. I don't know if it will or not, but, extending the bench to have 4 guys we can trust to be rotation players and 2 guys who can step up into the starting 5 as the 4th and 5th options, can be an improvement.
We're running it back. Screw it. Not like we have a say anyway. Just along for the ride and the Matt George victory laps.
I'm not sure how much longer I can do this insanity man… I've been a Kings fan all my life. But they never fucking learn! They do the same shit over and over again expecting the same result!
You're telling me the plan is to run it back?? I can say this with confidence.. I'd much rather them try at a rebuild and do a subpar job, then stick with the same shit that clearly doesn't work. This organization will never learn. What a shitshow
The vitriol hate Kings media and fans have for Zach LaVine is insane. Disgusting attitude
Is it considered negative when you are telling the absolute truth? Maybe we should all just live in make believe land where nothing is negative. That seems to be where ownership and loyal ignorant kings fans spend most of their time.
