Idk. I have mixed feelings on this. I’m old school. Talking chit is part of sports. It does kinda depend on how it’s done tho. To me, in the end, it doesn’t need to be some big deal. Dad got a little over excited. But it’s just words. I grew up with the saying “sticks n stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me”. Thicker skin wouldn’t hurt. That doesn’t mean I’m saying it’s ok what the dad said. Yet, letting a persons words affect you or not is a choice we all get to make. Don’t let peoples words have that kind of power over you.
