Dan is so ridiculous somuch of the time.
I don't agree with Gilbert Arenas on much but his quote of "what titles does Miami have without a once in a generation talent?" Is starting to sound a lot more honest.
Imagine thinking that blowing everything up is the answer while looking at the Utah jazz all these years after blowing it up and seeing how they are now.
The years they made the Finals were in seasons where the East was weak and injury plagued. People will defend it with generic statements like "you play who you play" but ignoring the context doesn't help frame where the team stands. Would they have made the Finals in less ideal seasons? If the answer is "no" the context matters.
Spoelstra can stay. Riley must go. Not getting a 1A while Jimmy was a consistent 1B for years is a fireable offense.

LMAO, nobody wants to say it, but RIley has to go for the simple reason that none of the current star players want to play for Riley. Imagine having South Beach and not being able to attract young millionaires. That is wild. Riley's time was past 3 years ago.

Some of yall have a distorted view of who bam is. You talk about him like he is in that embiid (when healthy) Luka, Ant, tatum class when he isnt. On a contending team bam should be a 3rd option type guy, think bosh with wade and lebron or think love with kyrie and lebron. And bam at 50-60 million a season makes it hard to build out a solid roster when you also need 2 other max guys beside him. Bam should be in the jarret allen, arron gordon, porzingis price range, $30-35 million a season. You litterally just watched him and herro both not beable to be the focal point of the offense in the playoffs now that jimmy is gone. And you already know herro is gonna be wanting a max extension so be prepared for that to get messy

Riley has been bad for years now. Letting solid players go for failed start hunts. Kd harden Kyrie dame etc have all been traded the last few years and Riley pulled none of them. Every year we hype up Miami picks Jacques and jovic didn't see the floor this year in the playoffs…. Not trading Jimmy last year should be the nail in the coffin… You knew you weren't going to pay him and Jimmy was never going to pay nice without an extension
The heat need to rebuild if Riley is against that then he needs to go
Pat reilly is really old, yes he has done great things for Miami and deserves respect but hes gotten ancient. This is such a miami mindset, Haslem cant play anymore and you let him stay on the bench for years out of tespect. If you want Reilly to stay in charge then stop complaining and just accept that the team wont be good.

Let's give "Pat Riley" and his staff 3 or 5 years to "rebuild" the Miami heat, they deserve it. Two years ago the Miami heat went to the NBA Finals, "Remember"!
7:36 how are they great at their job? In the regular season, in the past 6 years, they have been the 1 seed once. Won over 50 games, once. The playoff success was not consistent. One year, incredible success, the next year first round exit. The teams are not consistent.
8:40 that is what golden state did. Mark Jackson was successful, but he could not put golden state over the hump. They brought in Steve Kerr and had incredible regular and post-season success. With Spo, you can have either one or the other. In the last two seasons, you have had neither.
