This is a team that won 55 games, has one of the most efficient offenses in the league, and has proven it can dominate on both ends of the floor. But somehow, one bad quarter or one cold shooting night turns into a full-blown indictment of the entire squad? Stop it.

I'm one of those people who agrees with DG not a starter. I love DG he's a great guy and an offensive threat however at this age where 2 way players should thrive. He can play defense but not consistently. He gets hurt easily especially if he tries to match up with bigger and athletic opponents. I don't think it's coincidence that at this miami series games 3 or 4 that miami gave up its just that the cavs have become defensive efficiently plus those ball movement is insane. When DG was in games 1 and 2 there were a lot of iso balls but in games 3 and 4 Ty Jerome had a double digit assist stat. There is energy among guys who moves the ball therefore offense comes easily.
Please get rid of The Bull. He’s got a body for radio, a voice for print journalism and annoyingly awful takes!

The main reason why I think people say the Cavs are better without Garland is because when they play the Celtics they always switch Tatum to go up against DG instead of a bigger player.
If the Cavs wouldn't go with the switch and put Hunter, Wade, or even Okoro on Tatum that would solve a lot of problems.

its not dumb…the thing is certain Cavs fans, who are often fan-girls, dont get is that Darius is our Monta Ellis before the Golden State gave him up and they became a championship dynasty. Darius can score…but the offense often slows when he plays. If he doesnt make his shots…the cavs get beat because he doesnt play defense and he is short. And last year, Darius went out for 20 games and the cavs went on a huge win streak where they were blowing out teams. You can act like that didnt happen if you want, but if you get a stretch all-star for Darius (like Giannis or Lauri) who can play defense, youre making a run every year non-stop

When Darius is hitting the 3 early, and I've said this for months, it unlocks everything and we are unstoppable. HE runs the offense like no one else on this team, better than Donovan or Ty. His speed pulls defenders and makes space. Hopefully his toe is feeling a little better. We need ALL our talent, the FULL CLIP to go all the way.

I can say that with these 2 games hes been out it seems the ball has been moving efficiently whereas no one was just holding the ball or dribbling too much. But we still need Garland no matter what. Maybe Atkinson's Staff can Possibly make some Adjustments.
