SMH Pistons lost when they took Thompson out with 4 mins left. Brunson gets 5 points on straight layups vs Shrouder. That wouldnt happen on Thompson. Thats why the Pistons lost

No shade to be thrown on these Pistons, they are for real.
Experience and clutch baskets won in the end, but the future of the Pistons looks pretty good. Bickerstaff out coached Thibs, which isn't saying much.
They had Brunson on lock most of the series and frustrated him to force the ball out of his hands; however, Brunson came through in the clutch though, as expected.
Win or lose, the rest of the playoffs will be easier (less physical) compared to this series, Knicks were battered and beaten for 6 games against the Pistons; however, the next series will feature a lot of athletic veterans and better coaching, so Knicks most likely won't make it past the next round.

Pistons might have lost in a way that doesn't feel good, but they have NOTHING to be ashamed of. Last season they were being written off by everyone and lost 20 straight games or something.
THIS YEAR THEY MADE IT TO THE PLAYOFFS AND PUSHED THE KNICKS! The biggest factor here was experience and they just gained a ton of it!
