Rockets ‘taking shots at shooting hands’, Is this a problem for the Warriors? | BREAKFAST BALL

The Houston Rockets beat the Golden State Warriors 131-116 in Game 5, but the Warriors are upset that the Rockets were “taking shots at Stephen Curry’s shooting hand”. Craig Carton, Danny Parkins, and Mark Schlereth ask if the Warriors should have a problem with this tactic.

  1. If anyone thinks the NBA has gone too far with the physicality of the playoffs….

    Then your the problem.

  2. Warrior fanz are huge 2k online bball crybabies…. there is no way these foolz ever played real bball & crying about an injury

  3. Steph used to get destroyed on the court and at the end bro would have several bruises and cuts, steph is used to that kind of physicality

  4. So fun listening to warrior fans complain of dirty plays like Draymond isn't on their team. #CRY ME A FKN RIVER.

  5. Its not a question of is the extra physicality a bad thing its targetting to injure, these are different things, the football analogy is hey i get an advantage because of the other players injury, not lets injure him more. Its nasty, its gross and unsportsmanlike to target an injury just to injure

  6. It's all about perception and what the narrative focuses on. Everyone is targeted. Draymond targets everyone and is the dirtiest player alive. Butler has floored Brooks to no call and basically arm barred Steven Adams to the ground – how is that basketball? These Curry jock sniffers are a distraction.

  7. No wonder the NBA is losing audience. Clowns like these guys think injuring elite performers makes for a better viewing experience for the fans!

  8. If the warriors fans concern about Curry's thumb, they should ask Kerr to bench him instead of complain the opponents.

  9. I am so sick of this rhetoric that going after someone's thumb is OK. or going after a taped ankle is OK. Would you tell your kid to intentionally go after the injury of another kid to win a game? What message does that send, that resorting to that is OK, in fact it's what you should do? What kind of member of society would you be raising? That is not what makes sports engaging. Doesn't anyone remember "sweep the leg" from Karate Kid? We are talking about the tactics of cheaters and inferior competitors. I get that it happens and that it's technically "allowed" but I'm sorry, it's such a slimeball tactic. To hear a commentator say it would be stupid not to do it makes me feel sick to my stomach.

  10. It OK to go after the disadvantage, like run a go routes on a injured CB, but it is not OK to go after the injury itself by attacking the CB's ankle. It goal of game is the ball, not the body parts.

  11. it’s normal to target a injury in sports, that is taught from coaching.. if u don’t agree with that then you’ve never played any physical sports before.
