With all due respect Smitty why would the Bucks settle for Okongwu and Jalen and some picks for Giannis. The Hawks will have to throw in Zacch, IMO. That said do we know if Giannis and Trae can play together. Trae has either shown that he cannot or either refuses to play without the ball or he simply can't. Giannis is a downhill player who needs the ball in his hands. How is that supposed to work.
The Hawks need to stop trying to dodge reality by holding on to Trae Young. The writing is on the wall. It is time to part ways with Trae. This summer is a good opportunity to do that. The Hawks with their young wings and throw in Okongwu are ready to blossom but I do not think it will happen with Trae. I am not a Trae hater as I was one of a few who was not upset or angry with the Luka/Trae draft day trade seven years ago. My hope is that both parties will mutually agree to move on.

because the bucks don't have 3 years worth of 1st round picks. they are stuck with only giannis with no way to build around him. so they are in a tough tough spot. keep him and continue to get worse every year or trade him to start a rebuild which is inevitable at this point already.

As much as I love the hawks, I don’t believe in them in the off-season! They won’t even attempt this move even though it makes sense

I think the cost of bringing in a player like Giannis is too much. Yes the Hawks need a big man but this is too expensive, so no.
