  1. I can’t say I’m disappointed. This season far exceeded my expectations, and they were so close to winning. If Ivey and Stewart were playing who knows what would’ve happened. This is a great time to be a Pistons fan.

Respect to the Knicks too. Their experience was the difference maker this series.

  3. It's a reason he's not in Cleveland anymore 💯.. Not just the substitutions, it was after the timeout he we had a turnover 😡.. JB Bickerstaff had nothing in clutch as far as strategy 💯.. He had nothing to contribute in the clutch moments of this game

  4. We understand there can only be 1..Detroit should keep this team together..they have an identity and was missing 2 players ivery and stewert.great job…but lets go knicks!!!

  5. Knicks Fan here.. Pistons had the Greatest comback season in NBA history i was truly amazed at the way they bounced back.. theyre going to be a problem next year.

  6. Im a knick fan. When I saw bickerstaff was taking ausar out I said to myself “oh he just lost detroit the game”

  7. can we put on the tinfoil hats for a sec? i think Cade needs to stop his vegan diet. he just always comes out flat late in games but i dont think the problem is mental, he literally seems like he's running out of fuel.

  8. Detroit did an incredible job this year. What a turnaround for that organization. They will be a menace in the East for years to come. Lots of respect from a Knicks fan! I feel like the Knicks have a better shot with Boston thanks to how tough the Pistons played. All the best everyone!

  9. Not gonna even hold you Ku. Stan for Ausar all you want, and its not without merit. The bottom line thing is: Cade was NOT clutch enough. And there were too many turnovers in CRUCIAL moments. Ultimately Ausar not being on the floor isn't the reason they lost. 9/34 from 3. 0/8 from Cade 1/7 from Hardaway. Its just NOT good enough. You have to make your shots. HAVE TO. If you score your buckets in the crunch, Brunson's heroics will not matter! You guys are making too many excuses for Ausar not being on the floor, and not enough blame on the offense going to shit even with makable open shots. They had the looks and DID NOT HIT THEM. You learn and you grow from this. You can argue they could have won ALL SIX of these games, but its the lack of clutch scoring that just KILLED us. We had the lead in all of them, and choked it away. Yes Ausar not being out there did hurt but NOT as much as the lack of clutch scoring. We will be ok.

  10. Pistons will be stuck like Orlando how are they going to get better no top draft picks anymore Pistons are in big trouble get ready Piston fans You will be stuck in mediocrity good luck to ya all. Go Knicks

  11. This isn’t complicated to understand. Thompson is an offensive liability. You guys were down big and needed to score points his lack of an offensive game forced JB hand. That’s why his minutes were so low. He couldn’t afford to have him on the floor, even if his defense was really really good.

  12. JB sold the game when he took ausar out when he was flowing….as soon as he took him out brunson went on a run all by himself…..cade also needs to get better in the clutch. Not the last 5 minutes i mean last few possessions type of shots to put us over or win it. Cade was consistently outplayed by brunson in the 4th quarters of this series which was the difference in these games

  13. Another Knick fan here saying Detroit has gotten the league's attention. I thought we were done a few times. I didn't like the trash talk, but it worked for Detroit at times. Detroit was the hardest team we faced. Hats off.. P E A C E

  14. Pisstons let the flopper send y'all home with a 40 piece. Beasley has to start shimmying after he catches the ball & makes the shot. Not B4.

  15. Brunson had 40 points, alot of that against Thompson, pistons had their best defender one on one with Brunson in a tie game and YA MANS GOT COOKED, so dont blame the coach for previous plays. Just hold this L and be better

  16. I don't know how you do it! I would have a real hard time commenting after losses like this. I know we had a great overall season. I just hate that they could not win a home playoff game. I absolutely loathed seeing Brunson outshine Cade. I just hated that!!!! We fouled Towns out and still couldn't get the win. Why did Bickerstaff take Ausar out? I was yelling at my DVR! To me, taking Ausar out was worse than Thibbs not getting Brunson into the end of game 5.

  17. It wasnt about ausar. He was on the court when the knicks smoked us in the 1st qtr. It was about not having stewart and ivey since against a full healthy knicks team. Ausar has to get better with his fts or teams will just foul him down the stretch. Thj and beasley werent consistant enough shooting to give cade another scorer. Great season. Get a back up 4 in the offseason

  18. I'm not sure that I will be able to watch any more NBA games for the rest of the season… I'll probably return to watching when I get over this loss. I welcome the chance to watch NBA games with no emotional investment. For some reason, it was fun watching the Lakers lose. (As a Detroiter living in L.A.).

  19. As a Knick fan for all of my life this is the first series that we won that felt like we lost or didnt deserve. Pistons imo honest opinion played better team basketball, the only difference was Brunson. He is hands down the best player on the court. Other than that, detroit showed the grit, the toughness that I wished the knicks would show. Knicks are gonna get steam rolled by boston if they dont bring some of that detroit energy & physicality to the next round that pistons showed them

  20. Remember that Cade is only 23, but Brunson is already 29. Brunson is a great player, but I don't expect him to maintain this level. I'm biased, and I hated seeing him outshine Cade. Brunson did have a lot more scoring threats.

  21. Cade Cunningham was a class act, and a hell of a player. If the Thompson twin can work on his shooting, he’ll be a terrifying 3 and D player. Compliments to both of them. The compliments end there.

All that yapping by everyone else on that team, especially Beasley and Harris? The entire city of Detroit chanting “fuck you Brunson?” Real classy Detroit. BRUNSON gave it right back to continue your streak of NEVER seeing a home playoff win if you were born this century. Have fun in Cancun.

  22. What's amazing is that we were just a "Stew" away from winning this series. And YES, Cade had a wonderful first playoff series. I ask you to check how Cade compares to other 23 year-olds in their first playoff series. You might have a hard time even finding 23-year olds that even make the playoffs.

  23. Agreed that Brunson has much better offensive two way talent around him to help compared to cade. Cade averaged 25/8/8 and still has a LOT of improving to do (this is good). I just have high expectations for him and know he couldve been better.

  24. Tough tough tough. Pistons were looking for a playoff experience and got more than enough to learn, experience, and build – the victories, the heart-breaks it all comes en route to being great and more success!
Ku Khahil, you did a phenomenal job covering the Pistons this series!! We learnt a lot, we were there with you all the way so thank you so very much 🙏

  25. Putting it all on JB is crazy work! Would yall rather Monty Williams be the coach? Ausar is great! But he allowed a putback by not boxing out bridges. We learned and will be great next year

  26. Boo hoo. Quit crying. 14 to 48 and no playoff experience and still put bta majority of the quarters. This team will be contenders for years

  27. It was still a good season for the Pistons, they are a tough team.I haven't been this excited for them in a long time, I have nothing to be ashamed of.Juat saying👍
