  1. As a kid I use to hate Gregg and the Spurs cuz they would always beat my Celtics. My respect for him grew over the years and it’s gonna be weird not to see him on the sidelines in the future

  2. @11.13 Sam Presti should be up there also as a career coach. and how many key players he drafted for there dynastys and helped facilitate long careers across the league from a humble video coordinator

  3. A lifelong Laker fan here, always had the at-most respect for Pop , always a class act , hilarious in game interviews . He built that organization from the ground up and created a culture for the Spurs organization, Spurs were always in the hunt for a championship throughout most of his tenure as a coach. I think he and Riley are two of the best coaches ever both of them created a winning culture. Best of luck to you Pop.

  4. Pop is a father figure to the entire nba not just San Antonio . The L is going to miss him on the courtside. GOAT coach but also a beautiful human being.

  5. Spurs will regret by next season's trade deadline making an OBVIOUSLY inexperienced G-Leaguer Mitch Johnson head coach to replace Pop. What an injustice to Wemby-Castle-Fox.

  6. Pop only looked better than he really was because of Duncan to be honest. His career wouldn't have been half of what it was without Duncan. After Duncan finally retired, Pop was exposed for being just a regular coach.

  7. He's not dead yet, so I think we can sprinkle in some criticism. Success forgives a lot. He was dismissive of the media, always being a smartass. We were cheated of real insights on the games. I'm sure as said many times he was great with his players and fellow coaches, but seemed to look down his nose at those that cover the game for the rest of us.

  8. Typically, we wait until someone has died before they get this kind of treatment. I love that he is alive and seeing this.

  9. Didn't Stephen A say before that Popovich was classless when it comes to the media? And now he says Popovich is a man of class GTFOH. Popovich IS goated. But FU Stephen A.

  10. Thank you pops! For the wisdom, grit, passion, love, sarcasm and some nasty. You forever will be the dumbledore of all coaches. So get up!

  11. Is that a Autel Maxsysis 609BT? Can you give me another model on Amazon that would work because I can’t find that exact one, thanks man.

  12. I can’t believe it… I’ll never forget his commitment to Spurs and fans as a coach. He’s the best coach in the world!!!

  13. I never thought being a president would be a step down, but here we are. Greg Popovich way to go out on top and can’t wait to see how you revolutionize being The President Of Basketball Operations for the Spurs.

  14. Pop always gave the same toast at every team dinner. “To Tim Duncan”, I hope tonight after he came to his decision, RC and Brian Wright got him a nice bottle of wine and toasted “to coach pop”. I think if there’s any occasion to switch it up, it’d be this one.

    Thank you coach 🐐

  15. Man is ALIVE folks – present tense – he's also staying on as TEAM PRESIDENT – Salute him, praise him, but don't bury him, jeez.

  16. "The end justifies the means" sums up Popovich
    Sorry
I can never forget nor forgive how he backstabbed and maneuvered his way into the head coaching position
