Kevin Durant’s TOP 10 Plays From 2024-25 Phoenix Suns Season
Let’s break down Kevin Rant’s top 10 plays of the season. Starting at number 10, speaking of breaking someone down, crossing over Aaron Gordon up under finish with the flush. Good enough to come in at number 10 for Kevin Durant. And coming in at number nine with an amazing extended arm scoop layup finish around the Mavericks defense. Just look at the extension into the finish and the touch off the glass. Just very, very impressive. Remember that late season spark the Suns had? Well, Kevin Durant ignited it, starting with a 34-point performance against the Clippers in a huge comeback win where the Suns trailed by as many as 23 points. Durant had 19 in the fourth quarter by himself, knocking down a number of big buckets, a number of big threes, igniting the crowd in ways we hadn’t seen in a while. And that included the big assist to Colin Gillespie for three that eventually helped Gillespie carve out rotation minutes. Everyone remembers the three, but it wouldn’t have happened without KD. How about from passing the ball to getting a pass from Taius Jones on the break. Watch out podcast P. Danger down below. Durant dunks it on his head. Good for number seven. Kevin Durant sees most defenders as food, but that was definitely the case against Luca Donuch. The shot isn’t anything out of the ordinary for KD, but the too small, too tiny was an instant classic. Coming in at number five, we got Kevin Durant pulling up in transition. And just watch the way that he just could care less about the contest from Kyle Kousman. And goes the three. Coming in at number four, a great pass from Devin Booker, but you got to hit the shot to make it count. Kevin Durant sends the game to overtime. Buzzer beating triple, but it’s still good for number four on our top 10. In at number three, clutch time with KD. Watch him work patience in the clutch. Get to his spot. And then again in the latest edition of could care less about a contest. The step back one-legged fade. Boy, that 8-1 start sure was fun. Katie’s late game heroics once again helped make it happen. And this game-winning layup against the Sixers was the moment when fans thought the season might be something special. Dunks, buzzer beaters, fadeaway shots. You know how important a free throw has to be to end up at number one for Kevin Durant’s top 10 plays of the season. But this is no ordinary free throw against the Thunder. Kevin Durant joined the 30,000 point club with this free throw against the Grizzlies. What was your favorite play from Kevin Durant this season? Was it a dunk? Was it a layup? Was it a buzzer beater? Or was it a historic free throw that reached 30k for the all-time legend? [Music]
Kevin Durant had an incredible season for the Phoenix Suns, including some all-time plays. That includes crossovers, posters, buzzer-beaters, flashy assists, fun taunts and a record-setting free throw. What do you think was KD’s best play of the season?
