Lakers dont have bigs, depth or any real defense, Minnesota does. It's pretty much that simple. The fact is, this was a BAD matchup for LA, if you look past the record and just look at the matchups across the board, its easy to see why the Wolves are doing so well.

Why are they failing? The Lakers aren't good. Look at the roster. It's one HoF Ball Hog in Luka and an old man. Both need the ball or they are worthless to you. Reeve is a fine piece who give up as much as he scores he's a horrible defender. Rui is fine but what are you getting. 20 one game a 3 the next. A nice piece under used because you have 2 ball hogs on the team. The Lakers have 3 terrible defenders starting for them with no defender like a rim protecter to bail them out when everyone gets by them. How do the Laker combat this by packing the paint a letting you have the 3. They are betting you miss enough for them to win. It can work against trash team not good one over 7 series. Luka has to be the worst defender of all time and gives you no effort to even try and defend the guy he's on. If Luka isn't giving you 40 you can't win with him unless you have least 3 other guys defend his terrible defense like Dallas built.
