The Denver Nuggets Dominate The Clippers In Game 7…
All right, ladies and gentlemen, let’s talk about it. We were all hyped. We were all so very hyped for game seven. Cue the Zaza Patula clip. I get I get everything done today. I’m like, “Hey, once this game tip off at 6:30, don’t nobody call me. Don’t nobody text me. This is game seven, baby.” And the winner gets to lose to OKC probably. But damn it, game seven is supposed to be electric. And you get something that happens today every so often where at one point the Nuggets are up by 35 points. And it’s a it’s not officially over, but maybe Kobe Brown should have been playing from the early from the early part of this series, David, because he he made them put the starters back in, but now on the court, so Naji is playing in a playoff game. You know what I’m saying? Uh let’s let’s talk about it, man. Let’s talk about it because the Clippers just came out there [ __ ] a bit. Um there are a lot of things that bother the hell out of me from this Clippers performance. Um in my notes to start off with, I’m like, “Okay, Daryl Jones, you starting on Jamal Murray. That sounds great.” Derrick Jones scored the first nine of uh seven of nine points. had a three and two made layups and it was perfect. And then it very quickly shifted to, oh my god, the ball is finding this man way too often. I love Darl Jones Jr., I love Chris Dunn, but they should not touch the ball that many times in a game seven. It’s it’s like the Clippers played so hard to get to seven just to say that’s it. And what this is today is not February uh I’m sorry, not November 22nd. There is no other world other than it being a random regular season game. Let me let me look at this. Where Derek Jones Jr. should have 10 shots and James Harden should have eight. Did he forget? Did he forget this was game seven? Oh my god, bro. There’s like there’s certain ways I cover this game that I don’t I like like a certain ways that people cover this game that I steer away from. That’s just not my lane. That’s not my vibe. But so on and so forth. James, bro, I love this season for him. All things considered, right? Kawhi Leonard misses more than half of the season. This Clippers team wasn’t projected to do anything and James makes uh makes an all-star appearance. He make make an allNBA appearance, so on and so forth. But for it to be game seven and he gives them nothing. Nothing. I’m not trying to hear the assist numbers are the assist numbers, but I promise you if if the guy any if the Clippers were playing if the Nuggets were playing their zone against you, you would find the man in the middle to shoot the shot. You so don’t so miss me with that. This was a stanky James game, man. And that’s not even my bad. That’s not how I cover this sport. But for it to be a game seven, I just needed and I don’t care who wins. I just needed James Harden to be better. the game that they won last, James and Kawhai were in their douff like 60 points combined. They were that nice. And for to get to game seven, I felt like they played one quarter of basketball and they were like, “This ain’t even really it. We’re probably going to lose the OKC anyway.” The last like Kawhi has been a decent amount of game sevens if I’m not mistaken. One of my most favorite memories of Kawhi is not just a shot. It’s not just a shot against the 76ers. It was the fact that he said to himself, “My worst shot is better than this random role player’s best shot. So, I’m going to take 39 shot attempts tonight and we go win or lose by me.” And we didn’t get none of that. Actually, no, I take that back. Kawhi Leonard tried to take over to start the fourth quarter, had to take the first three shots and then stood in the corner in the notes. I’m frustrated and I don’t I didn’t care who came out of this series, but this is supposed to be best player in the world versus one of the two of the best of this generation and it wasn’t. It was Dar Jones Jr. and Chris Dunn in the middle of a of a middle of a zone. I can’t I I can’t imag like understand why so often in the playoffs we see a team throw a zone out and the opposing team just like what do we what do we do? How do we generate good looks? It has happened in so many series just this year alone where teams that are good offensively. The Clippers for the last month and a half were the best offensive team in this in this league. And then they saw a zone today and they were like, “Ah, Chris Dunn, can you save us?” Bonamus, can you save us? Norman Pal, can you sa It’s crazy. It really is crazy, man. Um, and you know who who I would be pissed if I’m if I was um one of the 130 fans that got flew out by Steve Balmer. I would be pissed because one of my favorite things about going to sporting events is going home if I feel like I want to go home. If I go to a Bulls game and they’re down by 20 at a half, guess what? I don’t care that I spent $100 to get in. This [ __ ] sucks. I’m going home. They couldn’t even do that. They got flown in. They can’t just walk away. They had to sit through this ass whooping and pray that Kobe Brown had enough juice to make it interesting with six minutes left. And you know what the one of the most insane things about before we flip on to talking about the greatness that is the Denver Nuggets? They guarded Joic very well tonight. They guarded him so well tonight and it didn’t matter. I’d be frustrated if I was a Clippers fan. Super frustrated. They had a lot like a lot of people picked them in the series. I’m people. I picked them in seven though. And a lot of times if I’m going so and so in seven, I mean it’s a coin flip. I don’t know who the hell going to win the series. Like I’m just trying to respect both teams and that’s kind of what we got. Um it’s an awful awful performance from them. Let’s flip it on the head. Let’s talk about the team that actually won because this team gets to go against OKC in just two nights. So this should be fun. Um the two MVP candidates going against each other in the series. That should be super fun. Uh but we’re not doing a preview. Let’s talk about this game seven for for the Nuggets. They look really good throwing out that zone. Um Brody had a really good performance off the bench. People were hitting my my uh my line like or my tweets like when did Brody become a great three-point shooter mostly in them corners. Them corners really be Brody’s spot. I thought Christian Brown did an amazing job setting the tempo today. And I got to give a lot of credit to Michael Porter Jr. because in the beginning of the series, I think it was game one, um he played off. He got benched down the stretch and I remember Nicole Joic going to the to the podium and saying something like, “If you don’t if you don’t feel like playing now or you can’t get motivated to play now, then you shouldn’t be playing this sport.” And I’m like, “Damn, that those are harsh words from your star player.” And then since then, even though he did have a couple duds in there, don’t get me wrong. Michael Porter Jr. has been pretty damn good, especially when consider they said that at one point he couldn’t even lift his his arm over his head and he had a couple big shots today. And I swear to you, there’s nobody in the world that wants the ball more when his team is up by 20 than Michael Porter Jr. He said, “I could just shoot with no consequences.” And I think he feels like if he hits that contested step back three when they’re already up by a lot, he going to bring the house down. And he he did. The Denver fans were amazing today from the very start. Um and that that’s pretty dope. We got to see and you know, I’m going to a game seven thinking, “Hey man, they got to be ready to ride their starters and ride their stars. This is not a Denver Nuggets team with a ton of depth, right? So, we shouldn’t get we we may get a stint of Peyton Watson and if that goes bad, then no more. We shouldn’t get to see, you know, um um DeAndre Jordan. He came in and he actually had two stints and it was like, “All right, not that bad.” And that was when they really started to to to muck it up, if you will, with that zone when it was not Jokic on the court. And then to start the fourth quarter, they were by so much that Joic got to rest until Kobe Brown, I’m going to mention his name again cuz he was the best player for the Clippers today. um when Kobe Brown came in and made it interesting all of a sudden. Yeah, man. This was this was a this was a game that I was highly anticipated and it didn’t work out the way we wanted to. Which again, that is that is okay. That’s fine. Hopefully, tomorrow’s game seven gets us something more interesting than this. But now we got to start thinking about the Denver Nuggets versus the OKC Thunder. OKC ain’t played in a week. That’s kind of crazy to think about. They just been chilling, waiting to see who they was going to go against. And it’s going to be the good oldfashioned Rest versus Rust. A team that just went to a dog fight of a game seven and then it’s game seven. when we had an overtime game or or not in this game seven, but in the seven game series we had an overtime game or the team that smacked that ass and then just been chilling at the crib waiting to see who their opponent is, who’s going to be ready the most. Um, for what it’s worth, I’m I’m taking OKC and six like my final prediction there. But I can’t put anything past this different Nuggets team. Just can’t. I think the one part that OKC is going to win at is like just having that immense amount of depth that like there’s there’s not a many roster or lineup constructions where you feel like the different Nuggets will have the better lineup. It’s kind of scary, right? There’s times where in this series you’re like, “Oh yeah, Chris Dunn is on the floor. Bet. Oh, um Dar Jr. on the floor. Bet. Ben Simmons is on the floor early in the series. Bet. Bagdonovich on the road in this series. Bet. Norman Pal on the road this series. Bet.” You don’t really get a lot of that with OKC. You gonna have to pick your poison, right? So, you know, Aaron Wiggins might get a lot of open looks in the series, but like it’s a pretty good shooter. It’s a pretty good shooter. I can’t believe how many times the ball found Chris Derrick Jones Jr. I can’t believe it. And I did I say did I did I say this? I think I said this about Kawhi not being aggressive enough. Yeah. He just he just wasn’t what we wanted as a as a fan of this sport. Um, I gave him so much praise after that one game where he was electric and I said it was his best playoff performance since the one game was that game two versus the Suns a few years back. He didn’t really give us a performance like that since then. It was like that was all he had in the tank and that’s kind of sad. I don’t know what happens next for the Clippers. Um, it’s already an older star core of James and and Kawhai. Kawhi Landers healthy for a series for the first time in a very long time and they couldn’t take advantage of it. That’s kind of sad when you think about it. Uh shout out to OKC and shout out to the Nuggets. I can’t wait for that series and we’ll see what happens.

Kawhi continues to be the most random super star of all time. His time with the clippers has somehow not ruined his legacy as much as it should. 2020 clippers were healthy, blew a 3-1. 2021 Kawhi hurt, 2022-2025 first round exits and Kawhi been in and out the lineup. Just wild man
This is the usual with James Harden 😢😢😢😢
0:04 Zaza Pachulia mentioned!!!!
Flippers gonna flip
Nuggets in 6 how this game got me feeling (delusions of grandeur)
Played two more games then the lakers
Every fricking time James Harden evolves his game in the regular season I always think "Now he's truly become matured as a player, he's finally gonna put it together come playoff time." Every. Damn. Time.
This being a snoozefest means rockets beating gsw in a close one
@4:42 spoken like a true american sports fan
Everyone in the media, including y'all, were saying Clippers were the second best team coming out of the West. That is a crazy ass take.
Game 7 James harden strikes again
Drake and Kendrick saved James Harden and PG from getting roasted last year but this year no such distraction was around lol
Clippers will never see the NBA finals…ever.
The Wolves though… they could for the first time
You know what pisses me off, no one talks how good the nuggets play, just how bad the other team was smh show some respect
Don't bet on OKC too, they are only a bunch of clowns easy to crush by Jokic's IQ… 😉
I get the were down a lot but a game 7 final game of the year for them suprised the clippers didn’t play there stars like kawhi for a example in the fourth
In case anyone hasn’t figured it out yet…
There is NO game 7 James Harden. He is king 👑 of regular season NOT winning season. I type this as I wear a James Harden shirt, hoping he proved me wrong..
The clippers might actually be cursed
this wasn´t just a game 7, it was battle for the title of the most notorious playoff choker between james harden and westbrook and westbrook really didn´t play like he wanted that title while james harden gave it his all.
congratuliations James Edward Harden Jr.!
man game 7s fucking suck nowadays bruh. i feel like every game 7 of the last 4 years was hyped up so hard js for it to be a blow out lmao
Dang Kenny didn’t you have the clippers in this series
"the greatest scorer of all time James harden" averages 15 shot attempts on 41% fg% across 26 elimination games.
