The Rockets did win convincingly. They forced a game seven. They’re back home taking on the Warriors. Winner takes all, loser goes home. Am I still too emotionally invested to bet on the side? Uh the Rockets are right where they want to be at this moment. The reason I picked Houston to win this series from the beginning was their youth, their athleticism. They should dominate on the boards. Uh Golden State’s age. Uh I’m holding that against them. Steph Curry, one of seven from the field in the fourth quarter of the last game. Now they got a win on the road. A team that looks tired, doesn’t have the legs. Now you’re facing a young athletic team that’s dominant when it comes to rebounding. I think this is a tough spot for the aging Warriors. And I I’m gonna let my emotions get the best of me here. I’m going to take the Houston Rockets on the money line, but I still like my man play off Jimmy. Uh we we cashed in that winner with Jimmy in the last game. I think I made a typo there. I think that’s 22 and a half. I can fix that though. Yeah, we’re going to go playoff Jimmy over 22 and a half points. And Fred Van Fleet, the guy’s been on fire. 29 points in game six, 26 points in game five, 25 points in game four. Uh Fred Van Fleet has been carrying this team on his back, but uh he’s gone over his prop for made three-pointers in three straight games. He had gone under in 11 straight prior to that. This is a game seven. The trends do tell us game sevens are lowscoring games. Van Fleet is not the kind of superstar that I want to back in a game seven to put up big numbers and hit a bunch of threes. I think we’re going to go under Van Fleet’s three and a half made threes prop. Uh you look at Jimmy Butler, his last two game sevens, 35 points and 28 points respectively against the Boston Celtics in 2022 and 2023. And with Curry looking a little bit tired, not having a great fourth quarter, potentially still banged up with that thumb injury. Uh Butler was pretty good in the last game, 27 points. I like Butler to get his points. I like the Rockets to get the win. And I like Van Fleet under three and a half made threes.
