I think the recipe to beat Boston is to go double big and punish them on the glass so much that mazulla also has to go double big and play our way rather than theirs. I’d only use hart in the non Brunson minutes with KAT at the 5 and have him handle the ball, run pick and pops with KAT and drive and kick to shooters. Going double big also allows Brunson and KAT to switch onto Tatum and Brown and run them off the 3 point line forcing them to take midrange jumpers with Mitch there to anchor and OG and Mikal playing safety. Mitch can also screen off ball for Towns to get him open from 3 or their 5s to switch onto him, which then opens up the Brunson/KAT pnr, not to mention leaving their wing in hell trying to box out Mitch. I don’t think OG or Mikal are gonna be as effective trying to isolate this series against bostons defenders so they are gonna have to be lasers from the corners as well as play great defense.
According to NY Knick Fans, after beating the young Detroit team with 1 all star in his first playoff experience, they said they were satisfied and don’t care if they get swept by Boston. I guess beating the 6th seed Pistons, with all of the money NY spent, that was their championship 😂😂😂😂😂
