They were playing Demond Green Style purposeful dirty fouls. Yes they are trying to injure guys. Refs need to get a handle on the obvious.

Unsurprising that the Pacers are dirty. Over the last two years in the playoffs, they've only played teams that are injured and won. They NEVER play teams at full strength when they're against them. THAT'S why they're overrated. Frontrunners.
What is crazy that in the beginning of the game Mobley touched Siakim when he was going up for a layup and pulled his hand back and got called for a foul, but the Cavs were getting mugged the entire game and the ref swallowed their whistles. Guess the league doesn’t want the Cavs to get past the second round.

Once again, the refs are absolute failures. Barkley was calling it out.
The physicality isnt the problem, its swallowing the whistle and NOT CALLING THE FOUL EVEN AFTER REVIEW. Its crazy.
Cavs have needed to be more physical all year, but its been blatant that the refs were incompetent in Game 1 at the very least.
When you're crying about fouls you're not focusing on gameplay and how YOU can do better. Indiana got away with some stuff but so did we…buck the fuck up.
How disturbing is it when the same issue with this team keeps coming up, Kenny said Indiana played with more force, energy and focus……… I have been one of the few that has spoke the truth about this team the last 3 years……they are heartless losers period. They are now injured and done, thank goodness. I’m hoping for a quick sweep and send these losers home so I can watch good competitive basketball.

Calling a team dirty and saying that they are systematically trying to injure people is a coping skill now evidently. Refs blow calls all the time and when you're clinging to a couple missed calls when you lost by 9 it definitely seems like you're blaming the boogieman.
