The Denver Nuggets defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder, 121-119, as Aaron Gordon knocked down the game-winning 3PM with 3.6 seconds remaining. Nikola Jokić totals 42 points and 22 rebounds to lead the Nuggets while Aaron Gordon (22 points, 14 rebounds) and Jamal Murray (21 points) combined for 43 points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tallied 31 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for the Thunder in the loss.

The Nuggets move to 1-0 in the best-of-seven series as Game 2 will take place on Wednesday May 7, at 9:30 PM ET on TNT.

  1. Casual 40+ 20+ 5+. All while being double and triple teamed by THE best defensive team out there, just never giving up. Hats off to AG and the rest of the nuggets, but Joker… Incomparable…

  2. No good. He struggled with assists. He was 6 short of meeting the ESPN`s aesthetic criteria for a 4x MVP requirement. 42-22-6 doesn`t make sense. And he shows up to games wearing shoes.

  3. When Nikola Jokic is in his bag 3's, midrange, and scoring inside. There's nothing you can do as a defense. Because all he's going to do at the same time is get his teammates involved lol.

  4. I could never bring myself to say Jokic is, or ever will be, better than Jordan….but DAMN he makes it hard!!!
