Nikola Jokic WAS DETERMINED 😮 Reaction to Nuggets’ Game 1 win vs. Thunder | SportsCenter

All right, so both road teams in the East take game one. And now the first road team in the West takes game one as the Nuggets come back from 14 out against OKC and Nola Joic just took over this game. It it is it is absolutely incredible the way Nola Joic plays. What really stood out to me was at times, especially early in the game, Nicole Joic was frustrated. He was frustrated with the physicality. Didn’t feel like he was getting the calls he wanted. And what did he do? He just plowed right through it. He played right through it. The determination of Nicole Joic. We were on NBA today and Chane Agum said that this matchup was the immovable object versus the unstoppable force, right? And Nicole Yokic is the immovable object and when he gets that determined mindset, puts the ball on the floor. You see two, three guys from OKC around him, doesn’t matter. He’s putting the ball up, he’s getting to the free throw line, he’s handling that physicality. Nicole Joic to put up those numbers on the road after playing a game seven to play with the poise that he had. I mean, this is a championship team. They know what it takes to win a championship. When we talk about this Denver Nuggets group, Jamal Murray, who Aaron Gordon with the big time play at the end, they know what it takes to go the distance. So, this quick turnaround, it didn’t phase the Denver Nuggets because they’ve been there before. All right, we’ll see how both these road teams respond with these series resume on Wednesday. Andrea, we got to have you back again. Always a pleasure. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause]

  1. I LOVE how when Jokic shines, Perk the racist, and Steven a rat faced loudmouth Smith are always nowhere to be seen or at least making his historic games sound less fascinating, but if Joker has a bad night and only does 10-10-15, the annoying tandem is always ready to make news and scream their propaganda. And that pointy beak vulture Nick too. ESPN is so corrupted and it's even hard to watch a full clip of their news… The guys on TNT are so much better and more enjoyable to listen to.

  2. Also, if Jokic doesen't win MVP, the NBA should burn….. The reward will lose ALL meaning. It will be the 'whatever story media wants to push because it makes more money' reward…. At the moment NBA and ESPN are scripted so much, it feels like WWE….

  3. Jokic could easily get 10 more FT every game. Dude gets hacked and his arms look like he was attacked by wolves.

  4. She sucks too she was wrong about everything she said now she saying good things bout nuggets smh espn sucks now
