  1. Yep. His ball handling and playmaking when Jamal is invisible is super important. Then- his rebounding is going to be super important as MPJ is clearly hindered by his shoulder.

  2. I said before the season- if Nugget culture can make Russ do two less dumb things a game, Joker will make him more efficient naturally- that’s a very dangerous player on a vet minimum. His passing on that fast break is Nugget culture- I doubt he does that on the Lakers.

  3. Chet's 2nd missed free throw was headed right to Russ, but he took off running up the court? Thank Jokic CB corralled it & fired it to Russ who made the right pass. The full Westbrook experience in clutch time again

  4. Westbrook fans think we don't praise him we just also are objective enough to criticize the guy. He is not the same player he used to be he's playing better and isn't they taking the dumb shots. The reason why he was so disliked in the Lakers is because he was taking dumbshots and missing the dumb shot. So now look at the way he's playing all of a sudden even I who is considered a Westbrook hater is praising the guy. I regret it everything I said but it's based on fact not because of you guys feel bad for the Brody

  5. LeBron and his camp demolished the guy and his reputation.. Lakers funs, quoting Jason, should remember 3 facts: 1) Vogel never wanted the guy and played DJordan Until Pel traded him, to prevent Vogel from doing that.. Vogel aka the worst offensive coach in nba history; 2) Lebron continued to handle the ball the first year, the second, when Russ was a sixth guy, had been, during the regular season as bad as Russ; 3) the second year the only guy passing over and over the ball to AD,was Russ..

  6. You make it sound like Russ finally got on a team that knows how to make him excel. Coaching and culture. Go Nuggets

  7. It's all about fit, and denver is just the perfect fit for those that have been tossed away. Jeff greene, DeAndre Jordan, Arron Gordon, bruce brown, russle Westbrook. Denver is the place to revitalize your career

  8. You can't say what would have happened if chet made his free-throws. No one can. It matters not, they lost, we won. Everyone wants to be revisionist historians. If the Thunder are as great as you say they are then win the series and say i told you so. Keep giving the nuggets no chance for success. We rather that. .

  9. Russ has been great his whole career — except on the Lakers when he was just good. The difference with his Lakers career was how he was misused as he and Lebron were and are in many ways the same player with the same strengths and weaknesses (comfortable on the ball … much less effective when off the ball — prone to TO's ). When in the Lakers he looked much better when Bron wasn't playing .

  10. My issue with the Celtics three point addiction isn’t just in general. I understand that that shot is a powerful weapon that is part and parcel of the system they run. And I understand it’s a big reason for their success. But in game one…19 of 20 shot attempts in the third quarter were from three. That just doesn’t even feel like pro basketball anymore. That’s the kind of ratio you see from a bunch of seven year olds farting around at the local park after watching a Curry highlight video. I mean you can still take threes. But come on, drive the lane, show and go, take a middy, cut back door. Just to keep the D honest. You can still take a ton of threes, but game one was incredibly one dimensional, especially that third quarter.

  11. First, let me say, I have never liked Russell Westbrook. This dates back to his OKC days when he was a complete black hole. He would literally play keepaway with Kevin Freaking Durant. I couldn't believe his selfishness and seeming lack of awareness. Not a fan, really ever. Now, I have to grudgingly admit that he he's become a useful player. He is playing so much better than before.

  13. This, ladies and gentlemen is called "THE HATE EXPERIENCE" = when you dislike someone with out righteous reasoning, even when they prove you wrong the reasoning you project as to why will ultimately also be wrong because your "hate" clouds your judgement.

the reason Westbrook is thriving isn't because of an increase of ability it's the increase of belief from others around him in those abilities, unlike Laker players sitting out while healthy in games where you have the opportunity to clinch an opportunity at the playoffs or a team that trades for someone to take your spot after being the leading scorer rebounder and assister in the playoffs like the clippers.

I notice how you point out the interview where Westbrook says he can miss a shot or make a shot but I think you missed the point of it.Nobody is perfect every player has bad and good plays as well as he does, that's not the Westbrook experience, it's the HUMAN EXPERIENCE. If his increase of play is based off of improvement of shot ability and better decisioning, just answer me this why in the 2023 playoffs when the clippers had to believe in him because of injuries of kawhi and Paul George he averaged 24/7/8 on 50 and 40 splits ? Hmmm

I think a more effective interview you can listen to is the opening season interview where Westbrook discusses how other teams put him in a position that wasnt his position and how the nuggets plan to use him more so to his strengths, that will help you get a better understanding as to why his play has an increase.

Opportunity ladies and gentlemen availeth example

  14. Lol I don't know where you get your stats from but they are INCORRECT. I have seen Westbrook make 3 pull up off the dribble jump shots in a row IN THIS HERE PLAYOFFS. THIS IS WHY YOU GOTTA WATCH THE GAMES YALL. SORRY ANALYSIS

  15. You can’t be serious. You told us 3 weeks ago that his super power at this stage of his career was snatching defeat from the jaws of victory with boneheaded plays.

  16. Sorry sir Russ isn’t a catch shoot player and he will never be that’s more MPJ and that goes without even saying. Russ is a primary dominant playmaker with the ability to finish at the rim. He’s always played that way and nothing has changed. The thing is you are now trying to justify your slander by making as though you have always been objective when it comes to Russ. You have to just take the L and put some respect on this man and that’s very simple. Russ is one of one and he just confuses the shit out of people that try to box him. He’s literally uncomfortable to stomach because of conventions. He rebounds like nobody, he shoots like nobody, he makes mistakes like nobody and his greatness is nothing we have ever seen. Deal with that folks.

  17. OKC crowd isn't doing their team any favors giving Westbrook standing ovations every time he subs in. They've turned what should be a hostile environment into Russ' home away from home 🤣 Get it together OKC!

  18. Why would you try to act like russ just getting good ??? What about okc ? What about the clippers he was solid as hell until harden got there lets stop the dumb talk lile he just a sorry player the right fit russ can be a force !
