Wemby LOVES This Trade News…

The expectation around the NBA is that multiple big time stars will be traded this offseason and for whatever reason within that conversation, the San Antonio Spurs are being forgotten. There are reasons for that yes, for the 1st time in 30 years their head coach will not be Greg Popovich, and Victor Wembanyama missed every game post all-star break with a medical issue, and they only won 34 games last year…

But still! This is as exciting of an up and coming young team as there is in the NBA, and they are extremely well positioned to add their missing piece towards contention this offseason.

  1. All those trades talks depend on one thing and one thing only. Where do we pick this coming draft…. If we are top 4 picks I don't see our front office trade splashing everywhere… Spurs build through draft and FA.

  2. I would have a hard time giving up all my depth for KD. The Suns just did that and look where they are now. Let Wemby and Fox be the stars and the supporting cast grow around them.

  3. As a Spurs fan, just no. What I think the most likely scenario is Durant could come over as a free agent, or sign and trade next summer. Unless I'm misunderstanding, only contracts beyond next season are Vassell, Keldon Johnson, and then Wemby, Castle, and Julian Champagnie have team options after next year I would imagine get picked up. I would compare it to like when Pau Gasol came to the Spurs as a free agent.

  4. I don't know why any team would give up anything (of value) for KD. Injury, age, lack of defense. He's a 6th man at best. I don't see him embracing that role.

  5. what we all need and what matters: to repent and follow Christ Jesus! THANK YOU JESUS! JESUS WILLINGLY WAS BEATEN AND WENT TO THE CROSS TO ATONE FOR OUR SINS! Jesus tells us to deny ourselves and follow Him. Jesus forgives sins, but He doesn't tell us to indulge in them. We must love thy neighbor but also lead them to repentance in the TRUTH which is Christ Jesus! Praise the King of kings and the LORD of lords! Jesus Christ is King! The only Way to Eternal Life in Heaven is in and through Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ can break all strongholds! Jesus Christ is the Way the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through Jesus! I know this is random, and I'm not a bot. I just wanna share something that's worth sharing!!! Jesus Christ saved my life on earth from suicide and for eternity in Heaven! Repent! Have Faith! Pray! Get Baptized in Jesus Name! Read the Bible! ✝ 🙌 ❤💪🙏

  6. You are on the right track. But wrong about the packaging 📦 itll be a 3 team trade.

Atlanta recieves: Devin Vassell, Jeremy Sochan, Blake Wesley 25'atl frp , 27' atl frp

Phoenix Receives: Trae Young, Malaki Branham, SA frp 25

San Antonio recieves: Kevin Durant, Royce O'Neal

  7. I say trade for Naz Reid & & Johnson from the Nets. They can give up Vassell for Johnson. Trade Minx, Ingram/Duke for Reid. Then use draft picks for a backup Center & hopefully Bailey. 🤞 That's just a safe bet on some promising results, but if they are going to go for KD/Giannis, then they're going to get rid of some key role players, that they will ultimately regret. At least being safe, you will still have an up to par depth in bench points. I believe if they keep Keldon Johnson, he will potentially be the sixth man of the year next season. If CP3 is extended, then he should come off the bench as a floor general to run the second string unit.

  8. Nah the Spurs are good, as a fan, I don't want them getting into happy trigger mode. The team is developing with a semi vet but still young star in Fox. Old man Cp3 is good enough on the bench lol

  9. Spurs fan here. Spurs consider Sochan to be a big part of their future. He along with Wemby, Castle, and Fox are untouchable.

  10. Lol this video is all sorts of whack.. You should do your research more, no way Spurs gonna give up young assets and future picks for an almost 40 player with diva attitude, cancer like personality that could poison an enitire young core of players

  11. forget Cupsnake Durant! he's old and selfish and will cost about 10 players (actual and picks combined). Spurs better not make this trade. unless the GM is Nico Harrison, he will ensure his team is gutted forever and ensure this trade will benefit the other teams.

  12. The KD trade option is… just crazy. Why would Spurs give up everything for Durant?

If other young teams do something like this, it is actually better for Spurs because this is the kind of trade that ruined a franchise. 😅

  13. As a Spur fan… I couldn't be more opposed to this video. A 37yr old Durant is in no way shape or form worth multiple picks, Keldon AND BARNES. That is positively atrocious and would be giving up too much for a lateral move. Yes, a lateral move… Because the only thing Durant gives us that's a major upgrade is his ability to get his own shot at any time anywhere on the floor. Sure that's special but he's 37 and makes 50+mil. Idgaf about his ability to close either, we have Fox. Spacing/spot up value playing off Victor? Barnes already does that. Keldon is our primary bench punch… perhaps you turn Vassell into 6man and promote Julian but overall this just doesn't make us much (if at all) better. Yeah we won 34 games… but that wasn't a year of Wembanyama and Fox it was half a yr of Vic and a handful of games of Fox with a messed up hand. No spurs fans want to give up half our assets for 2-3 yrs of KD to not even contend because it probably isn't enough. Giannis is much more worth discussing though as he's like 30 not 37. Giannis and Victor would be utterly insane but the price will be high af he's an MVP that still plays like one. I'm afraid SA needs a 3rd team to help acquire Giannis though because none of our picks beyond this yr (including ATL) look like they have lottery potential. I guess the DAL pick that's like 2028 or something.

  14. KD isn’t a good fit he is old usually injured and not worth more than one 1st round pick. Best fit is Giannas and Booker if they become available. But Gianna and Wemby together is absolutely insane. No one under 6’8 is ever coming to the paint.

  15. This would certainly make the spurs better in the short term… but would be horrible asset management… with his injury history, this could very quickly be a loss of assets for zero value (not to mention that being the reality in the near future anyway, considering he’ll be 37 next year)
