So in this NBA news and rumors video, I am going to be talking about the San Antonio Spurs and Jonathan Takmpo this 2025 NBA offseason. Well, here on the screen is a tweet uh from NBA Central on Twitter or X which says the San Antonio Spurs are a team to watch for Jon Kmpo per Brian Winhorse. So, with the Bucks season coming to an end last week, uh, by the hands of the Indiana Pacers, there’s been a lot of talk about where Giannis sort of stands with the franchise moving forward. So, could this be the year where Giannis asks for a trade? Could this be the year where the Bucks explore the trade market for him? I guess only time will tell. Uh, but Giannis has definitely been generating a lot of interest on the trade market this 2025 NBA offseason. Now, a team that I’ve seen sort of tied to Jiannis Entmpo a lot would of course be, as Wendy says, the San Antonio Spurs. Uh, the Spurs are a team that have a superstar in Victor Wanyama. They made a big time trade this past year for De’aran Fox. And the rest of this team is pretty solid as well, but more importantly, what the uh Spurs have going towards them is cap space and assets, right? They have draft capital, uh, they have roster players, they can make the money work financially speaking as well. And I think having a big three of De’Aran Fox, Jonathan Takmpo, and Victor Wenyama, that would be very scary for the foreseeable future. Defensively speaking, having Giannis, De’aran Fox, as well as Victor Wimpyama. This could arguably be the best defensive basketball team in the entire NBA. Uh Vic is just getting better each and every season. Giannis is a tremendous player in his own right. Of course, he’s one of the best, you know, two or three players in the entire NBA. And I think if you have De’Arren Fox, maybe some other players as maybe some third or fourth options on this team. The Spurs could be a championship team as early as the 2025 2026 campaign. So if Giannis is of course made available, I would fully expect a team like the Spurs to be very active and very aggressive in trading for his talents. As I mentioned before, they have the draft capital. Uh they have the roster players to make it work and they can make it work financially speaking as well. So the Spurs can offer a ton.
