This development has Raptors fans SPLIT…

This latest development on the whole Giannis onto Tumbo saga has Raptors fans split. As we all know, the Milwaukee Bucks had a complete flame out there in this year’s postseason. To make matters worse, Damen Lillard tore his Achilles. So, there are no signs for this Bucks team to improve anytime in the future. And the Raptors have been linked to Giannis and a lot of the discourse has been around, hey, Scotty Barnes for Giannis. And people are split because no one wants to trade Scotty, but everyone wants a top three player in the NBA. So, there’s that whole split that’s going on here. Now, at this point, however, there has been some developments in terms of what Giannis is looking for in a market, in a destination, which is one reason that people are looking at saying, “Hey, the Raptors have a better chance of getting Yiannis,” and some people saying, “Oh, he has no chance of coming to Toronto now at this point.” So, we’ll discuss that report and how people are interpreting that as well as a latest sort of trade proposal that has been thrown out there, which has people I feel like more polarized than the Scotty Bars discussion, which is honestly wild to think of. So, lots of stuff to break down in this uh video because frankly, the Giannis news has just been uh it’s been back, baby. You know, the Giannis watch. I haven’t had this graphic out here for years now at this point. So, we’re breaking it out of the vault. you know, record and I reacting to some old uh you know, yianis news back in 2021, the dream seemed like it was dead. But now with uh you know, the Bucks having a a collapse out there in this postseason and everything that’s coming out from the Buck side, again, we don’t know for sure. So, there’s going to be a lot more details released as we enter, you know, the actual off seasonason, you know, playoffs finish, we get closer to the draft lottery, the NBA draft, free agency, and all this type of stuff, but I won’t rehash all the stuff that we’ve discussed out here for the previous Giannis discourse. But I will bring up the new report, which frankly has a lot of people fired up. Before we do, folks, again, we’re trying to hit that 38,000 uh subscriber mark by the NBA draft lottery in hopes of uh you know, maximizing our chances of getting Cooper flag, putting the good omens in the air. But uh you know, we’re getting we’re we’re chugging along here. So, if we hit that 37,500, I greatly appreciate it. Hit that subscribe button if you are tuning in to all the latest Raptors updates and uh want to continue to stay up to date as we enter the postseason. But, you know, the Giannis onto discourse, it’s it’s at a point right now where it’s all, hey, what’s going on? We’re trying to get these little nuggets, little bits of information in terms of his future because he hasn’t come out and distinctly said anything. There’s been subliminal stuff released on the Bucks end, on the RA, on the Raptor end, on the Giannis’ end, and all this type of stuff. And now a report has dropped essentially uh revealing that uh from Howard Beck and uh discussing with Zack Lo that I poked around a little bit a few days ago and the initial thing I got from one person was just like some rumblings that it’s already just the big cities, one of the LA teams, one of the New York teams or maybe Miami. Not a big market but a glamour market, midsize market. I think they threw Chicago in there as well. I can’t remember if Houston came up. It should. So, first is like where does Giannis want to go and do they honor that? Because again, uh Damen Lillard, you’re not obligated to honor it. So, that’s uh that’s an interesting point of discussion because again, some people are looking at this and saying, “Hey, Messiah Jury, you’re cooked now. He wants to go to LA, New York, Chicago, Houston, whatever’s happened there.” But other people are looking at hey Giannis is a guy that you know if we look at his you know history out there in the NBA and you know he’s an international player relationship with MSI and stuff and Toronto being reputation from the US you know reporters analysts and stuff not a glamour market but sizewise on the international stage you have the Greek community out there in Toronto I mean it is one of those types of markets so the fact that Giannis wants to move on from Milwaukee and go to a city that is in those realms Toronto is in that realm home of city and you know the weather didn’t really have an effect as Chicago and New York were brought up there at that point. So it’s something if you look at how you know Kawhi Leonard was deified here when he was with the Toronto Raptors. I think you know Howard Beck he was very like oh what was Eastern brought up with this it wasn’t like one of those substantial the main piece the main takeaway from that is if Yiannis is leaving the Milwaukee Bucks he wants to go to one of those markets it’s going to be you know really elevate his brand really just take him to the next level and this is where the split comes in I think Toronto does that some people say oh there’s no world Toronto is one of those places and stuff it’s Canada all that so you know that’s some of the discourse that’s happening there on that front in terms of uh you know those future moves boost those future things. And then also the little hint, right? I’ll bring it up again about do they have to honor that? Because again, the Milwaukee Bucks, while they have a great relationship with the Honest, I think they do them dirty. They don’t have to just, hey, I want to go to the Nets, just trade in for the Nets and, you know, not really have anything go out there at that front. So again, we’ll see how things shake out on that realm and how that plays. And you know, in terms of the Toronto Raptors making one of these moves, one of these trade proposals, which has people even more fired up than the Scotty Bard’s discourse, as I discussed earlier, is uh, you know, because a lot of the topics, a lot of the discussions have been around, hey, Scotty has to be in every Giannis trade package. Frankly, I’m still of the frame of mind that if we want to to actually make one of these deals happen, then Scotty, I don’t think the Bucks are going to accept anything less than Scotty. So, that is what it is. But there was a proposed trade that was uh brought up out here at this point from Bleacherboard that is making some headways here now at this point that frankly I see a lot of people having some wild discourse about it. So we’ll discuss. So essentially the Toronto Raptors receive Giannis onto Tumbo and Pat Conington who is a guy that I do want to remind Raptors fans. You were watching the videos throughout the season. The Raptors have had interest out there in the past. Of course not the centerpiece. Giannis is the centerpiece of that deal. And then the Milwaukee Bucks received Brandon Ingram, RJ Barrett, a 2025 first, a 27 first, a 29 first, and 2031 first. Now, there are a lot of specifics brought up, especially Brandon Ingram just signing a contract and those types of things, like the logistics behind it, but frankly, I’ll read what the quote said, you know, from the from Zack Buckley, but basically, they could conceivably fetch more than this, but it is quite a package. Four first rounders and two building blocks in Ingram and former all-star, you know, averaging 20 plus points per game. and R.J. Barrett, the number three pick in the 2019 draft, has made significant strides in terms of efficiency, playmaking, and all those types of things. So, you know, that’s Buckley’s kind of discussing on it. And I do want to bring up like it is, you know, the the contracts, the logistics, and all that, but frankly, I’m more interested in how Raptors fans are viewing this because of course, Scotty Barnes is that guy that is the anchor, is the the main piece of this Raptor squad going forward in the future. But a lot of people seem to be hating this trade more than uh you know that the other you know Giannis trades with Brandon all these guys be brought up and so we’ll take a look at the guy’s stats because you know RJ Barrett of course this season 21 points per game six rebounds five assists I I’ve brought up how RJ Barrett’s development age he should not be on the trade block for the Toronto Raptors. Now if the trade block is going to return you a Giannis onto Tumbo yes things change out there on that front. I apologize R.J. one of my favorite players in the NBA. But that is one thing that’s brought up. But then you attach, you know, the sizable package that’s also going to be on top of this, right? Brandon Ingram, 22 points per game, 5.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 37% of the three-point line. You know, 27 years old himself. Yes, there are some injury concerns. And then also four first round picks. I get it. Giannis is a top three player in the NBA. 31 points, 12 rebounds, 6.5 assists, all that stuff. Like Giannis is an absolute monster. I do not want to diminish his value. how excited I would be to see him wear a Toronto Raptors jersey. But that price tag of RJ Ingram and all and all those picks is very very expensive. And then the benefit of that is you keep Scotty Barnes who is your highest trade value piece has the most upside out there on the roster. You know is going to be in my opinion an all-star caliber player at the minimum. You know he’s been an all-star but a continuous all-star caliber player in the NBA. You keep him. But there’s a couple things to factor in with this. Of course, the RJ like the talent-wise going out from Brandon Ingram and to RJ Barrett, but you just brought in Brandon Ingram, who yes, you had to trade for, but it was Brandon Ingram’s decision to go to us or the Atlanta Hawks. It’s basically a free agent signing. He ended up signing that extension. It was just done facilitated via trade because the contract situations and everything that’s going on. So, one of your biggest probably it might be crazy to say, but from the outside coming in because of course we’ve had Kyle Lowry resign with the team, Demar Rosen resign with the team, Pascal Seakum resign with the team. There have been a lot of all-star caliber players resign with this team in terms of guys that have never played for the Toronto Raptors before signing a longerterm extension with the team. We’ve never seen someone the magnitude of Brandon Ingram sign with the squad. It’s never happened in Raptors history. So for Messiah Jury to then go go on and trade him to dare I say like a desperate Bucks situation which they would certainly be in trading away Giannis that’s just a bad look across the NBA. Now, of course, to get Giannis, you might say, “Hey, Ben, we don’t care about all that stuff.” And fair enough, like there’s a varying amount of opinions on this, but you know that on top of RJ Barrett, on top of the fit of a Giannis next to a Scotty Barnes, who yes, would be the most talented group, but Giannis, Scotty, and Yaka Purle, while it would be most probably the best defensive front line out there in the NBA, the concerns in regards to shooting, floor spacing, who’s going to have the ball in their hands, that would be something to look at for this Raptor squad. So, it’s a it’s an interesting thought experiment. It’s an interesting bit of discourse. Again, the the likelihood of every team is going to be going after Giannis if one of these trades if he’s thrown out there on the market. So, it’s it is what it is. We’re kind of diving into all the speculative arrangements how things are going out there on that front. But, let me know what you guys think on this discussion on this discourse. Would you want to see the Raptors training Ingram RJ and multiple picks for Giannis on Tumbo? I’m probably leaning the direction of no. And same way I was dealing with the Scotty Barnes approach, but again, we get Giannis on the team, then uh you figure it out. We we I wouldn’t be that distraught to have a top three player in the NBA out there wearing some uh red and black. But let me know what you guys think about all this in the comments section down below. Do the best this far. Subscribe to the channel if you guys haven’t already. Anyways, I’m signing out. Cheers.

  1. This trade seems a bit more fair. But if Ingram is only being included for salary purposes would rather do RJ + Yak and the firsts for just Giannis instead of rj and Ingram for Giannis and the other dude. Our starting lineup would be Giannis Scottie Ingram quick center . Bench would be gradey jakobe ochai Jamal battle mogbo

  2. Giannis will average $60 million for the next two years, and that is too much for one player. That kind of money means having a G-league bench because your team is top-heavy.

  3. The Bucks will likely want Scottie Barnes in any Giannis trade. Plus, a healthy Ingram is similar to Khris Middleton. He may not be better than Middleton in defense, playmaking, off-ball scoring and 3-point shooting, but he’s good enough to do all those kinds of things while offer similar, if not better creation from the mid-range than Middleton. Middleton’s ability to create and score one-on-one in the clutch was a huge factor to the Bucks championship run and Ingram could possibly be the same, should the Raptors get Giannis and make a deep run.

  4. The trajectory of this franchise with giannis or without giannis all comes down to if Scottie can make the next step as a player. Scottie gotta be averaging at least 22-24ppg

  5. I don't like that option at all. It's too expensive, and then the Raptors have 3 starters that can not even be trusted at the free throw line, let alone further out.
If the big trade option demands more big trades to make it work, maybe look for a different option.
Barnes is not a pg and not a great shooter. As cool as it would be to have Giannis, i don't see how he and Barnes work together.

  6. I am fine with RJ and Ingram, Ingram has never played for the Raptors so replacing RJ for Gianis is a mega upgrade. Plus the contracts are more in sync time wise with everyone with 3 years on their contracts. However when you add the picks its too much, teams that do these deals always lose and end up in cap jail, look at the Lakers, Dallas, Nets, Phoenix. I want that 2025 pick no matter what, you can add a 2025 2nd and 2026 first and 2028 first even up to 3 2nds total but that is it, if they want more than 2 1sts and 3 2nds let him go the team that goes more than that will regret it

  7. All those other teams would be trading their best player to get GA …so what would be the point ?? the rest of the nba still thinks sloppy has massive potential so let's fleece the bucks and dump him for GA

  8. I’m never a fan of trading away so many draft picks because it almost always ends up coming back to haunt teams that do it.

  9. Giannis , 30, is a physical player, his game is not going to age well. I would not give more than two #1 picks for him and zero #1 picks if BI is part of the trade.

  10. Jokic or Booker would be a better fit for the team. Even KD would be a better fit, though I question his ability to be healthy.

  11. No way to this trade! I would be fine with BI + RJB + 2026 first + 2028 first + 2025 39th pick + 2030 second round pick. For Giannis + Pat
If it is crappy players salary fill sure 5-6 FRPs but RJ and BI both younger and very good to All Star level. Both on 2-3 years of quality contracts as long as healthy.
I might throw in J Battle in there to help their depth but nothing else.
If some other team is willing to give up a better packages congrats to them. Right now I expect BI and RJ to take 9-10 3s per game that is quite a bit of shooting we would have to create. GA can opt out in 2 years if the team he is traded to are first round playoff exits. You can’t kill future for 1 player see KG to Boston trade as example of value.

  12. The thing is with Giannis, you have to surround him with outside shooting, with Jak downlow and GA downlow, ain't no room for Scottie who cant hit 3's. Scottie is going to make 48 mill next season, I'd send him and 3 picks all protected, they get Abaji and Mogbo to round out the cap hit.
IQ, RJ, BI, Jak, and the Freak (starting 5) Walter, Dick, Shead, and whoever they get off the bench.

  13. That's still a bad trade because Giannis is not the right fit at this point of his career. It changes the whole dynamic of a young developmental team to a win-now team where guys like Mogbo and Shead don't make any sense anymore and instead are liabilities to trade for vets. It'll take an entire 2 years just like it did prior to pivot from Siakam, Fred, OG towards a development team just to pivot back to a win-now team. Also trading RJ and BI for Giannis so that he and Scottie share the same basketball floor on the same team is asking for trouble when it comes to spacing. These two will crowd each other out because many of the things they do overlap … they will literally get in each others way like Randle and RJ in New York did. It's just not a smart play again like Kat and Gobert … it's just sounds good on paper but in reality it runs into the physics of playing ball effectively. Plus they don't pose as a shooting threat so the paint will be crowded like hell … nah man Darko can do a lot but even he'll struggle scheming around that. Forget Giannis, that's what Scottie is supposed to be for this team right now and he's on a decent trajectory to keep improving instead right now is an opportunity to find what we can get for RJ and possibly one of Ochai, Gradey, Jakobe (one of them is redundant right now). Let's not give away any picks for this cycle and instead maybe even trade down this years draft to sweeten such a trade for whomever is being traded this cycle because more talent besides Giannis will be on the market. Again Raptors have moved on from the Giannis hunt because of the current circumstances plus we have Scottie filling that role but there are many opportunities available from other teams that are imploding that we can scoop up.

  14. These trades for superstars have been crippling teams and leaving them in hopeless situations with zero future. (except the lakers thanks to Nico) Could you imagine having no draft picks and having to rely on free agency for 5-10 yrs? Do we want to be like the Clippers or OKC????

  15. Just stop pushing Giannistrade to TO.. surely Barnes is here to stay and having two of same player type messes with spacing. Let him go somewhere else and flex his ego

  16. Giannis for Barnes makes more sense because they’re more similar so it’s just a sub one for the other. I’m not a huge RJ fan – I love that he’s a local kid but I think he’s more of a stat stuffer than an actual impact player. I don’t think Giannis is a fit and I wouldn’t overpay for him. His game is largely based on his athleticism and I think that’ll start to decay in the next few years. This team with Giannis and without whatever it takes to get him is NOT anywhere near contention IMO.

  17. Let’s trade proposal seems stupid, and what world are the Raptors going to trade Ingram after just signing them. That’s going to hurt them signing future free agents so badly. They’re never gonna make them move like that. That would want to keep her gonna be Brandon Ingram Scotty Barnes Giannis.

  18. How come all the rumors are all about African American player 365 day every day Do you not value them as people
Check it. Something isnt right here
