OKC Thunder vs Denver Nuggets | Western Conference semifinals Game 2 Highlights | May 7, 2025
Keep it on the perimeter. Williams did not shoot it well in game one. He finished five of 20. Homer got a bump from Porter. Continues on the drive. Hartinstein gives it up. The corner pop. It goes. Unable to convert there, but you like his aggressiveness if you’re different. Homer lob it up. Slam it down. Hardenstein. See the activity on the defensive end and the activity on the offensive end in regulation. Step in steel by Dort. Dort’s going to try to do it himself. He missed it. Kept alive by Brown. Gil Alexander. Cleans it up on the inside with a pass on the interior. He had four guys get down in transition. But certainly DO felt like we can get better on some of those execution items in the defensive end in the fourth quarter. Inside for Hartstein, the setup by Williams. 117 OKC Parker trying to give it up. The cut and the jam by Williams. And Oklahoma City, one of the best cutting teams in the NBA. SGA bounce it. Parkerstein again and again and again. He has become Mr. Nugget in so many ways. How about two gamewinners in the same postseason? Homegrren cans it from the corner. The small forward Jaylen Williams guarding Joic. Joic making a pay. The bigger Jaylen Williams hits on a three. Thunder shooting 62% from the field. SGA wants to clear the area. The fade is good. Kick it for the ground three off the mark. Shots are not going down. They’ve been well contested. Homer with a head of steam. Layup goes and a foul. Flying down the floor. Homegrren with those long strides at 71 attacking. Denver is three of 13 from the field. Feed it inside and bounce off of Joic. Turnover. Look. Russell Westbrook is in. Gilis Alexander gets it to go and put some English on it. The Canadian. Boy, this lineup right now for Denver was so good in game one defensively and efficiently on the offensive end. Blue door. Bingo. Green. Hartstein. Childress Alexander off balance. Baker goes. That’s difficult. That was a tough force shot right there. Execute at the end of the game like they would have liked. didn’t finish. Didn’t slam the door shut as Mark Dot said to us. Turnover Wallace ahead. Joe Copway, but he put it to Hardenstein and Do is there Watson got a piece but that’s how this first quarter has gone. Anybody that’s team Keller is good with him. Well, there are a lot of teams out there in the NBA. Isaiah Joe with a downtown hit. Pressy on that list. Well, the gold standard in the NBA right now what he’s done. But David David Copperfield, where’s the picture of Sam Prey? Really right now. Denver is going to have to work on their defense here and attempt to get some stops. Everything going OKC’s way. Wallace pumps it in from the outside getting into room with a fan sitting in the fifth row. And the fans, they they cheered him before game one. They did. Not tonight. Wallace cut next on a three. I’m loving Andy. Number one, MVP finalist Joic and Gilas Alexander along with Giannis Adakumbo. Gordon stumbling going to the rim. He had it blocked underneath. Caruso twisting and turning for two. had Joic posting up on the smaller Wiggins. They missed him. Williams hard drive. Brown gets a piece of it. Open load. Wiggins nails it from long range. They are eight of 14 from deep. 57%. Gordon fakes out. Caruso drives in and blocked by blocked again. Two for the price of one. Wallace goes coast to coast. He just kicked it to another gear now. OKC, look at the defense. Homegrren just being long on the first attempt by blocking a shot. Look at Case Wallace beat the entire Nuggets team down the floor. I played with a guy in Phoenix. Missed there by Wiggins. He’s out of the timeout and I like how I’m sure he told Stephanie that he was very a matter of fact like no one else in the league can do that. As Stephen and steal, Wiggins takes it to the upper room. Joic not able to get going inside. Steps outside. Lou Dorton slam down. Wiggins on the rack attack. Right now Denver is in a zone. You hard to block out but Wiggins goes up high anticipating the miss and his effort defensively knocked down some threes on the offensive glass right now. Oh, I mean jab, jumper, splash. George Alexander swing it. Wiggins got a hurry. And that’s how you attack a zone. Dribble penetration. And we talked before this series, Denver, they only go eight deep with Westbrook playing most of the minutes off the bench. OKC just wears you down. Coaches Alexander short tip in. Fartenstein gets the roll. It’s 23-1 in this first half. Quite a different story from game one. That’s not working either. Joic tried to hit Westbrook upstairs. Slam down. Jaylen Williams climbs the imaginary ladder. They are all pumped up in OKC. Huge lead. Talented young player showing his range. Jumpers Alexander fades and hits. Wiggins can’t hit the three. Hartinstein keeps it alive. Hartinstein finishes on the inside. They had two turnovers. Two lowest turnovers in the NBA this season. OKC as Denver turns it over to start this third quarter. Start of this third quarter. They go into Gordon. Drops that layup. No rebound. Gordon and he’s tripped. Goes down hard in the process. They turned it over 18 times in game one. Overcame that with late game execution. Williams off balance delivery goes down. And Williams is so good. Had such an incredible season on the bench. But right here getting to that left hand. Nice pull up. Close game that they were in in game one. They fell short. This has felt more like what we saw against the Grizzlies as SGA scores in the paint. On the switch, Gilas Alexander crosses over and gets it to go. SGA is smooth with it. Oh, great footwork right here. SGA just takes his time. Great crossover. Gets in the paint. comes to a Jay Gilg Alexander has scored 22. He’s dished out seven assists. Hartstein back door layup goes. It’s Dort Williams over Joic. No rebound. Gilers Alexander Homegrren. Yes, a three right there. SGA just gets a little higher. Goes up with two hands. Porter now one of nine from the field. Georgia Alexander fades and hits. Under four minutes to go now in the third. Hardstein fake the handoff. Shot clock down to five. The cut and slam by Williams. And another dime from Hardenstein. Williams leads it for Gilg Alexander. He’s going to score. Westbrook still has the energy and the athleticism after all those great seasons. Williams to Williams. JDub inside. Hammer jam. SGA made the point that his workouts are so efficient that you see that efficiency play out in the way he plays the game. Jumper is smooth from Isaiah Joe with the tray ball and then a reload here for OKC. AJ Mitchell in the game and AJ Mitchell in the box score didn’t take advantage of that in the fourth quarter game one knocking down threes and making teams pay and they’ve done it tonight. Westbrook stripped of the ball. Mitchell into the hands of Kilis Alexander. I love that you brought that up and that was a great point on his part. Look, he said there are things that they can improve upon, things they can do better, but not change who you are after one game. They’re on the receiving end of a route in favor of the Thunder. Here’s Joe one-on-one with Tyson. And Joe nails the J. It was Christian Brown, it was Aaron Gordon, it was Russell Westbrook. So much easier for the complimentary players when they’re playing at home in the playoffs. And the accountability is there and that the respect level that the team has. Tyson misses from long range dodging the offensive rebound. Slapped away. Turnover. Joe give it up. Mitchell can’t a triple. One stat in favor of the Nuggets. They’ve won seven straight playoff series after winning game one. Dar and a hand off for Tyson. 525 mark of the fourth. Steel Mitchell upstairs when it didn’t necessarily they maybe a 500 team man as Joe just stays hot from three. 59% shooting for the Oklahoma City Thunder. 37% for Denver. That’s going to add to the percentage for OKC. The layup from the rookie out of Weieber State, Dylan Jones. Fast break points 22-5. Knocked away from Picket Mitchell. All gas, no breaks for the Thunder. Oklahoma City responds in a big way. Game two belongs to the Thunder. 149 to 106. The first team in the playoffs this year to win a home game in the second round. Ryan when they did impressive start to finish. The sense of urgency came out with a chip on their shoulder. I said earlier play.

RAHHHHH THUNDA
Itโs so crazy to me that Aaron Wiggins doesnโt get more minutes. Thunder were even up by 40 at some points and no Wiggins minutes
The 'enver Nuggets. But why? They have no D!๐ค
STATEMENT WIN let's go get 3 more
LESGOO THUNADAAAAAAAAAAAA NUGGETS, NIKOLA BUCKETS, FCK IT, OKC IN 5!
OKC has evolved to be a championship caliber team. They are quick, strong, and everyone knows his role. They're like a well-oiled machine. Definitely a shoo in for this year's title. I feel bad for my Warriors.
Hopefully throwing away game one because they couldn't hit FTs doesn't come back to haunt them. Plus, they couldn't throw it in the ocean either. Now it's a big game 3. You win you need to win 2 out of 5. Lose you need to win 3 out of 5. You have to win 1 in Denver, or the series is over. Game one has the feel of a game OKC will regret giving away with poor shooting and horrible FTs. Jokic will not lay and egg in game 3. He's too good.

Chet is more effective when he's trying to disrupt Gordon's shot, not try to keep him from the rim.
OKC was mad, real mad.
And donโt forget we still have what wouldโve been a lotto pick sitting on the bench nobody has even seen yet ๐๐๐ okc loaded

Why was there no video of the last game?
what happened to ma boy @aimastery
those extra passes did it for the win, SGA and Jdub have to really play team offense and avoid making so much iso plays
Return of the Mack 3:05
Save to say OKC doesn't regret trading for Shai, not a bit.
Meanwhile, in LA….
Nice defense Nuggets.
Jokic advantages 2 foals a game for the season but in the playoff's is all ways in foal problem why players get to what ever they want to him. SGA you can't touch but Jokic foal away. Joke and hard to watch basketball. Why NBA rating suck every year.
Refing is a joke.
This settles who the real MVP has been the last seasons.okc goat mvp >joker
Denver woke the Juggernaut with that game 1 win…..
That's โ๏ธ ball
I knew we would bounce back that was a serious ass whipping from them
Ummm can we have Brian Davis and Michael Cage back immediately pls ๐
A good ole fashioned family friendly beat down. One could call this a trounce in the biblical sense.
