This is the WORST Case Scenario for the Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers have just fallen to 0-2 in the NBA Playoffs against the Indiana Pacers after a Tyrese Haliburton game winner. It’s a devastating loss that compounds upon the injuries to Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and De’Andre Hunter which derailed the Cavs in game two. Donovan Mitchell did everything he could, but it wasn’t enough. And now, the Cavs are on the verge of having their dream season ended prematurely. Meanwhile the Golden State Warriors, despite an injury to Steph Curry, won game one on the road vs the Minnesota Timberwolves due to great play from Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green, and Buddy Hield, and a really bad game from Anthony Edwards. Let’s talk about it.

  1. Maybe Mr big toe should just play instead of laughing his ass off on the bench another arrogant team who thinks they can just let their starters sit with playground injuries because they obviously going to win right? Well don't worry because he will be back like nothing happened next game because there was nothing wrong with him

  2. This is a classic case of how legends are made in the playoffs not the regular season. I also feel sorry for the Cavs because a large part of winning a title is luck and Cleveland are out of it at the moment.

  3. I had pacers in 6-7 even if cavs were healthy. They’ve been playing with a level of focus I haven’t seen from any other team this season and if you look at the analytics, under the hood they’re not just the 4th seed in the east but actually the 4th best team in the league closer to being 3rd. Injuries made their regular season a bit rocky but when healthy they’re legit contenders

  4. The pacers are annoyingly lucky every year. You watch, whowever they meet in the ECF, will have a major injury. Haliburton is more lucky than underrated.

  5. Playoff games are different from regular season game. Playoff games are harder to win. If you lost the 1st two home games theere's a 95-99% that you'll lose the playoff series.

  6. They made too many mistakes down the stretch which gave the game away. Even with their starters this same thing might have happened. There is no excuse to lose this game in the manner in which they did.

  7. I'm a Jazz fan, and I've been rooting for Donovan since he left the team, I really hoped this was his year, and it appeared as it was, to go get it all. Still hoping for a turn around in the series.

  8. Like what happened to the Dubs in 2015 . 73 wins. NBA record. Choked in the finals. These recent playoffs off have been exciting.

  9. stop these narratives none of these are serious injuries if they were tough at least mobley and garland could play haliburton messed up his wrist but played through it and the cavs were still up by 20 in the 3rd Q injuries or not there's no excuse for blowing that

  10. I figured the pacers were gonna be tougher than people thought. Cavs choked like we did game 1 🤷‍♂️
Hope we do better tonight ⛈️💙🙏

  11. I get that you are wanting the Cavs to win an NBA championship without Lebron. This Cavs team is a regular season team. Too tired and too hurt for playoff basketball. They lost by 9, at home, in game 1, only down one starter. They are 1-5 versus the Pacers in 2024-25. Why not show some respect for a Pacer team that is clearly playing playoff basketball and deserves a championship just as much as the Lebron-less Cavs.

  12. This happened to the 1960s Lakers. They would be better than the Celtics, but then Jerry West or Elgin Baylor would get hurt in the playoffs. But the 1960s Celtics were deep and saved it for the playoffs. Except when Bill Russell hurt his ankle in the 1957 playoffs. Wilt Chamberlain won the 1967 Title with the 76ers. But then asked for a trade to the Lakers. (Then got hurt in the 1968 Finals) This set up modern free agency.

  13. Some of yall fail to realize injuries affect players differently (ex. Kawhi having an ankle injury and Tony Parker coming back way before him). You really think these ultra competitive guys don’t want to play. Especially, when they actually have a legit run in them? Let’s be real..

  14. Jarrett Allen and Donovan Mitchell are two all star level players, pacers had two all star level players – but Cleveland had home court, the fact they lost is embarassing. You should be about evenly matched on talent with the injuries and you had home court and you’re down 2-0 and have to win at least 2 road games to win now

  15. This Cavs core is good for another 5 years… a couple of bounces their way, and they will make the Finals in the next few seasons

  16. The crazy thing is during the final minutes of the game I opened YouTube while watching and poll popped up asking who would win and I voted Pacers then they completed the comeback…

  17. If we lose this series, Darius Garland MUST BE TRADED. Anyone whos gonna reply "oh but this or that" Feel free but I literally dont give a shit. He is the biggest liability among the 4 star guys. Id also rather have the double bigs by keeping Allen
