MAJOR Kevin Durant Trade Update! + Miami Heat UPDATED Draft Picks
Miami Heat Nation, what is going on? So, in today’s video, we got a major update on the Kevin Durant situation, and this is good news in my opinion. But before we do start today’s video, if you guys enjoy Miami Heat content, we do upload every single day. And our goal this year is to upload for 365 days, and I couldn’t do without you guys. So, I just want to say I appreciate y’all. I love y’all. Continue to keep liking, keep sharing, keep subscribing, and let’s get back into today’s video. So, as y’all see on the screen right here, um, this is coming up from Flat Sport Buzz. Um, it says, “The sense here is that while the Miami Heat are going to pursue, well, might again pursue Phoenix Kevin Durant, Miami isn’t going to offer all of its first round inventory for a 36-year-old with a one-year left on his contract.” Now, I think this is great news to be honest with you, just because of the fact that we kind of know where the Miami Heat heads at, right? They want Kevin Durant, but they’re not going to go all in just to acquire him. Mind you, I’m a big fan of Kevin Durant. I would love Kevin Durant to be on my Miami Heat team, but I also know I’m not trying to give up three first round picks for Kevin Durant. I feel like that’s a little bit too too much. And I don’t think any team’s really willing to give up three first round picks. So, I do think the Phoenix Suns are going to be stuck and taking less than they wanted. Right. I don’t see the Houston Rockets doing it. I don’t even see Minnesota doing it. I just don’t see much teams doing it. So, and obviously there’s real interest. The Miami Heat tried to trade for Kevin Durant at the trade deadline. The trade just didn’t go through. They try to trade Jimmy Butler and Jay Rich for Kevin Durant. The Phoenix Suns are like, “No, we want to pair Jimmy Butler and Kevin Durant together. So, obviously, it didn’t fall through. But now that the Phoenix Suns obviously didn’t make the postseason nor the playin, Kevin Durant’s only getting older. I expect the Phoenix Suns to trade Kevin Durant to get something out of it. I expect them to keep Devin Booker. He’s expected to sign a contract extension and I think they’re just going to try to build off that. Maybe try to trade Bradley Bill if that’s possible. Now, when we do look at the Miami Heats draft situation and draft capital, which I’m going to pop up on the screen right here. So, obviously, we have the 20th overall pick this year, right? That’s via the Golden State Warriors. We also have our 2026 first round pick. And then we have a 2028 and a 2029. So there’s no way we’re just going to be like, “Yeah, let’s just offer all our first round picks for Kevin Durant.” No, that’s that doesn’t make much sense. Um but this is kind of the whole situation involving the um draft picks, of course. Right now, Kevin Durant, like I said, he’s still talented in my opinion, even if he’s 36 years old. I’m going to put up his numbers on the the screen so you guys can see what I’m talking about. Um, but a lot of people are saying even if we do get Kevin Durant, like we’re not going to win a championship. Like Kevin Durant, bam, Tyler. Like I don’t think it gets done. It’s like putting a band-aid on a cut or something or however they try to word it. But yeah, Kevin Durant 611, 240, 26 points a game, six rebounds, four assists, shooting 53% from the field. It definitely gave us another shot creator in the postseason outside of Tyler because, you know, without Tyler, well, with Tyler being the only shot creator, it’s hard to score offense. That’s why our points are so low offensively. So, we get another guy on Kevin Durant, which you could say Kevin Durant is a number one option, but at this age, it’s tough. But, as you see, man, like last 10, 50% from the field, 53% from the three-point line, 100% from the free throw line. Like, I mean, he he he was awesome. You know, he played 62 out of 82 games. You could be like, “Well, he has dealt with injuries.” Yeah, he dealt with injuries and came back and still looks amazing. You know what I mean? Like, a lot of people deal with injuries and they don’t look the same. Kevin Durant was the total opposite. So there’s there’s obviously faith there. Um when you look at this Miami Heat team, if say if we do, you know, somehow in some way do trade for Kevin Durant, we got to look the around the depths, right? Because depth wins you championships. Like when you look at the teams in the playoffs right now, they have depth. Majority of them do, right? So it’s like what depth players do we keep to keep around Kevin Durant? What’s a good fit? You know, like is Wiggins I think Wiggins obviously has to be part of the trade, but like is Duncan gonna be part of the depth? Do we let him go? Is Kyle Anderson gonna be part of the depth? I obviously think DaVon will Heywood questionable. Yo’s questionable. I think we bring back Burks. He was, you know, producing. We’re expecting a leaf from, you know, Pel. So, you know, the depth is not great there. So, we’ll see what happens with that. But yeah, once again, that’s kind of the updated situation with the Kevin Durant. Hope you guys enjoyed today’s video. I will be back tomorrow.

I’d give Wiggins, Duncan, Rozier, and Jaime/Jovic for KD.
True… Bam, KD & Herro might not be enough to beat the top 2-3 Teams in the NBA but it's most definitely better than what we have now and it's a start. Did we forget that we still have Free Agency & could make another trade after that could make us competitors to Win it all. We gotta start somewhere!
Let's Go HEAT!!!
