The Atlanta Hawks NEED To Have a GOOD Offseason
Thank God that I’m also a baseball fan because if I wasn’t right now, I would have nothing to do. I’m one of those people that I’m going to watch a basketball game or a baseball game no matter what team is playing. But at the same time, it’s hard watching these playoff games knowing that your team should be there. So, since I don’t have any fresh Atlanta Hawks news to talk about because we haven’t played a game since April 19th, that doesn’t sound right. I don’t know, but I know it was in April. Point is, I’m going to be talking about our off season and what we need to do as a team because you know what else am I going to talk about right now? And guys, keep in mind, I’m 16 years old, okay? I’m not no general manager right now. So, if I say something that maybe doesn’t sound right or you don’t agree with, please don’t hate on me because I definitely out of all people do not know how to run an NBA team right now. I say right now because one day I will know how to run one and I will be running one, but not right now. I’m only 16. I got to live my life a little bit first. First things first, obviously, we need to get a new general manager. We can’t really run the team without Well, you know what? Landry Fields wasn’t really the best. So maybe we could do well without one right now. But point is Landry Fields is gone. He is out the door. That I think is what matter most. So obviously they’re going to hire a new general manager during the off season. Who? I don’t know. I really don’t keep up with all things NBA general managers. So I don’t really know. Like they’ve been saying on Reddit who’s in the running, but I don’t really know who any of those people are. So, you know what? To whoever is hired, good luck, cuz this team’s kind of a disaster right now. So, good luck fixing Landre’s mess. Also, just know if you’re just as bad as Landry or worse, we’re going to let you know, okay? Like, I we Okay, I don’t say we, I’m going to say me. I don’t sugarcoat things, okay? I am the most Brutal Hawks fan out there. So, if you suck, I’m gonna let you know. Now, in terms of the roster, I feel like we have a really good start. You know, we’ve got Trey, we’ve got Dyson Daniels, we got Zack, we’ve got Jaylen Johnson coming back, but who else? I feel like everyone else kind of needs to Well, okay, I take that back. We can keep Katon Wallace and Aquin Plowen. They’re on two-way contracts right now anyways, so if they start to suck, you know, they can just go right back down to College Park. But I think the person who needs to go the most is George something or other. If you don’t know who I’m talking about, his name will be on the screen. I don’t know how to say it, so I call him George something or other. Point is, I’m sick of this man, okay? Every time he opens his mouth, something bad comes out of it. And he’s not even a good player. And I always say that there are no bad players in the league, but he’s starting to um what was I going to say? Oh, he’s starting to, you know, make me take that statement back. Okay. So, George something or other, send him somewhere else for all I care. Now, I feel like changing up the roster a bit and getting a new general manager are the two most obvious things for this team right now to do in the off season, but what else do the Atlanta Hawks need to do to fix this disaster of a team. This one might be a controversial one, and I know that there are a lot of Hawks fans who don’t agree, and there are also Hawks fans who do agree, but I’m starting to think that maybe Quinn Snider needs to go as well. Don’t get me wrong, I think that Quinn is a great coach, and I think he deserves this job. But at the same time, lately, it has seemed like he does not know what he’s doing, and his decisions make no sense whatsoever. Now, the fact that he wasn’t fired along with Landry Fields makes me think that Trey wants to keep him around, which Trey, I’m not really understanding the vision right now, but I hope I understand it one day because I don’t see why you wanted to keep him around, but you know, if Trey wants to keep him around, I feel like Trey is a good leader and I feel like he knows what he’s doing. I, you know, Trey is obviously not the coach of the team, but I feel like if he wants to keep him around, he trusts Quinn and where Quinn wants to take this team. So, yeah, that’s pretty much all for today’s video. Um, you know, like I said, hopefully the Hawks have a good off season because if they don’t, next season’s going to be an absolute disaster. The Atlanta hawks have been an absolute disaster lately but I feel like with the right changes and getting the right people in the door we can turn things around. This is just my opinion on what the Atlanta hawks could or should do to fix things and make things better for next basketball season.
