Pacers Take 2-0 Series Lead vs. Cavs After Another Epic Comeback | Inside the NBA
win it 120 to 119. Pacers up 2 nothing in this series. Four times in seven games this postseason they’ve shot 50%. They shoot 52% tonight. The Cavs were 59 and3 when they took a lead to the fourth quarter, but they lose tonight and are down two nothing in the series. Here’s Jared. I just saw an opportunity. Uh missed a free throw. Somebody had a beautiful tip. I grabbed a rebound and there was no chance I was passing it, you know, down the line. This is what I do. And uh trying to make a big play. Guys like Reggie Miller have hit shots like that in that uniform. How does this feel for you guys to complete this comeback? Yeah, it feels amazing, man. Uh we knew they were going to respond with a big punch, but we stuck with it, man. We we uh we’re resilient. Everybody can say, “Yeah, we had DG and Dre out. I’m not going to go there.” Like, you know what I’m saying? I think for us, you know, they play Friday, great. We definitely use them. But if they don’t, we got to be ready. Understand that we we’ve shown we can do this. We can sit here and dwell on this and be home in about four or five days or we can move on and take some things that we did really well and and go from there. I would just say collectively we ran out of gas. Um and and they they just they kept turning it. Impressive how they they turned it up like I said, holding, grabbing, fouling. And honestly, u but you that’s the play, you know, that’s the playoffs. You can’t be asking for calls, you know, when the other team is kicking your ass the way that they were. And so Tyrese hit another amazing shot to win the game. You don’t see this very often, let alone twice in one week. You feed off of that overrated chance that the Cavs fan base was giving you. Yeah. I mean, sure. Yeah. Uh I didn’t know we had beef, but yeah. I mean, overrate that. overrate that. Look at this. Couple of 20 point comebacks in this postseason already for the Indiana Pacers. And Tyrese Hallebertton getting it done tonight as the Pacers take that two zip lead over the number one seed in the East, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Um Ernie. Yeah, when you blow games, you have to help the other team win. And they did. You saw it last night with the Celtics and you saw it like yeah the Pacers made some great plays but the mental mistakes that the Pacers made you like we always talk about you should never score on an out of bounds play and people say why you say that I says you got five guys guarding four fool why in the world would you that that’s you got an advantage five if you if you got if four guys score on five your team sucks and you should never. And the thing that bothers me about that, it wasn’t even the big guys in the paint on those two offensive rebounds on the free throws. Those guys came from way outside. One from the free throw line the knee. Come on, man. Huge. And then the turnover by Strus on the pass. Yeah. On the but two the two offensive like obviously the one was uh the dunk but and the one that gave him the gamewinning play that should never happen. First of all, Tyrese Hallebert is not a overrated player. He’s a great player. He plays right way. And all the kids out there, the ones that can’t jump high, don’t have the Steph Curry form, watch him instill all that he does. He played a great game. I thought they came out happy. A little bit lax days, but they turned on the set quarter. They kept fighting. They kept fighting. And then when you keep it close and teams make crucial mistakes, you have opportunities to win. So, they took advantage of the opportunity and they won. But I would have loved to been in the locker room cuz I was in a situation like that one time and we were all happy and Phil came and said shut up. We don’t deserve to win that game. We played like just to let you know like yeah we won the game but we didn’t deserve to win that game. We didn’t play the right way but now they won that game. Forget that. Now we know what we have to do cuz you know of course when you have a guy that hits a shot everybody’s going to be happy. But they didn’t deserve to win that game. Cleveland gave them that game. But they’re up 02. Now you going home to your crib, your routine. I’m thinking close this thing out. I’m not messing around with him. Well, Tyrese Hallebertton’s best attribute when you talk about being rated, there’s very few guys in the league that can create a pace that you have to play at if you play their team. So, meaning they could slow it down and you have to play slow and you’re gonna have to win a 90 point game or they play fast and you’re gonna have to win an 110 115 point game. Talis Hallebertton is one of those guys. Forget the scoring and all that. I always pay attention if he’s creating the pace. Allah Steve Nash, Jason Kid, what they did. He doesn’t do it as well as those two guys yet, but he does it to close to what they did. So when you play the Pacers, you know you’re going up and down, which allows Seakkum and Turner and Nemhart to play at a different place offensively. That is a talent that is he is if you want to rate it from one to 10, he’s a nine at not now you want to rate him, rate that. Yeah. Pacers. Yeah. In fact, if I were ready for that, come on. The data is that that one. Yeah. Oh, we’re off. No, it doesn’t work. You know, there’s so been some changes around here. Take that take that for data. Yeah, take that for data. Here’s some data for you. Take that for data. Pacers plus 40 fast break points in the postseason. Ernie, it’s a button. You got to press it. I know. I just did. Take that for data. Thanks. There you go. Kind of lost its effectiveness. I think working around here now. Time to tough. You never know. You never know. the the rental on the sound machine may have may have run out. Um, meantime, uh, you heard Jared mention it when he was talking to Tyrese Hallebertton. You think about gamewinners for the Indiana Pacers. There’s one guy who comes to mind, our colleague Reggie Miller, and we happen to have video evidence in the middle of a second. Yeah, you can dance, Reggie. One of the greatest clutch playoff performers of his generation has apparently done it again. Don’t waste time here. Jaylen Rose out in front. Reggie for three. Miller afraid. Bang. Miller gives the Pacers the lead with 2.9 remaining. Reggie Miller knocks it down. And this place is absolutely stunned. That footage from NBC. That’s the best footage we can get. Shout out to the great Dick Eversaw. That grainy. It wasn’t It was It was a long time ago. That grainy when I watched the that game on television. Shout out to the great Dick Everol. Yeah. No doubt. Yes. What? That was overrated. What? What? Reggie Miller. Those shots. That’s overrated. Oh lord. You hate You know what’s funny about one of those Reggie Miller games? We We played a game later in the day. Yeah. So, I didn’t get to watch that thing against the Knicks. So, I’m driving to the game. When I get there, everybody, man, did you see the Pacers come back and beat the Knicks? I says, “Man, the Knicks won that game.” They’re like, “No, they didn’t. They scored like eight points in like 10 seconds.” I said, “No, they didn’t.” I couldn’t believe. Reggie did. That was unbelievable. That was a game y’all playing. Meanwhile, TK, what were you saying about the Jet? Oh, grooming. Yeah, in between, man. We going to have to work another 20 years for that beard to grow in full. We got they got they got to will us in here. We wait for that beard. I want it like this. Like what? Nappy. Look at this. Are you brushes?
Inside the NBA crew Shaq, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson react to Tyrese Haliburton’s game-winner to complete the Pacers comeback against the Cavaliers to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

Tyrese "Somebody had a beautiful tip." Haliburton gonna sweep the cavs.
While they definitely should have won and choked in the final minutes, they were still without three of their best players. So IF they come back next game, this series is definitely far from over.
Cavs getting swept!!! Mark my words
ty jerome had 2 more points than me and i'm sitting in my grandma basement with my drawers on typing on my damn keyboard.
The pacers were good as a whole this game, tyrese clutch it out but it was a great team win
Cavs are down Garland, Mobley, and Hunter. That's literally their starting PG, starting PF and starting SF. If 2 of these guys are healthy this series will at least go 7.
Pacer took back what LeBron gave them in 2018. Cavs fans are you still have no desire to have GOAT James back? 👑🐐
The biggest overrated player in the league is small guy from the bay. Real ones know.
CLEEEVELAND THIS IS FOR YOU ….EMBARRASSING 😂

PACERS haliburton game winner 3point 120-119 indiana 2-0 leads!
Pacers players are all quicker than average. Certainly all are among the quickest at their positions, except maybe Hali. It makes them really tough to deal with in scramble situations like rebounding and inbounds plays. It's no fluke that this game and the Milwaukee game ended the same way.
With Garland out Cleveland is directionless. Mitchell can't do it alone. Indy wants it more.
Pacers in 6
LEARN HOW TO INBOUND CAVS
Nice to have a lot of team oriented squads left in the playoffs.
Go Pacers!
hali is the new reggie
Mitchell had 48 damn
What the hellyburton
Let’s not forget the level of intensity raises dramatically in the playoffs, especially in the last two minutes. The Pacers don’t feel pressure, they apply it. None of them are scared of the ball late in the game.
