Raptors scouting kinda cooked this season πŸ“ #raptors #torontoraptors @tangerinebank

are the Raptors sneakily a deeper team than expected given the next ManUp mentality these younger players have been showing it’s been really exciting this season to get a chance to see so much of these young guys play because in an average season rookies do not get this much time the Raptors have had no choice they’ve been banged up lots of their veterans are out and guys are having to play bigger roles it’s been really fun watching jacobe Walter most games is he going to be in the rotation probably not when the Raptors are healthy you’re getting a great chance to see Grady this season o was always going to get a great shot but even the rookies Jamal shed Jameson battle Jonathan mobile these guys all have been able to contribute the I think the Raptors front office like actually did a really good job with this draft class they really need to come away from this draft class with like three or four hits and they’re kind of on Pace to do that um so good for them seriously

  1. They are working together, which counts, because players in the 905 do not interact with high caliber opponents. Hopefully, they will establish themselves as a unit. One has to wonder what players don't fit and will become expendable in a trade before the next draft.

There's no point in bringing a big name to fill some void, because the injurying of team chemistry will upset what they are currently building.

  2. We have some good young players Gradey Dick, Jamison Battle, Ja’kobe Walter, Jamal Shead all these Kats are under 25 and hungry and yeah Jonathan Mogbo.

  3. The staff in the 905 I’m shocked isn’t getting looks at a higher level we sent gradey down last year and he turned it around coming back up we sent Walter down and since coming back he’s been good Shead was in the 905 for a bit he’s having a hot stretch Boucher came out of there I’m sure a lot of our older draft picks played too in the 905 I think the strong culture comes from the bottom up and the scouts find the right guys that fit our training staffs vision
