The Boston Celtics will be JUST FINE…

The Boston Celtics are going to be just fine. And before you go to my comment section and call me a Celtics glazer, I’m a Hornets fan. So, in this situation, when we’re talking about the NBA playoffs, I’m as about unbiased as they come because the Hornets haven’t sniffed the playoffs for the last 20 years. But this is a Celtics team that has completely dominated the first two games through three quarters. I mean, they have led for 81 minutes of this series, which has been two games, and that is almost 84% of the game time played so far in this series. Backto back fourth quarter collapses that were sparked by the Knicks really going on a run at the end of the third quarter in back-to-back games, not being able to close out quarters, and then just going uncharacteristically ice cold. I mean, speaking of the Hornets, it looks like they’re out there choking threes, but it’s really the defending champs. If I’m a Celtics fan, I’m a little worried, but not really. I still have supreme confidence in this series, in us winning this series. And that’s because of a few simple reasons. The first is that Jason Tatum is going to stop playing like the brick mamba and turn more into the black mamba, right? Kobe’s his mentor. He’s got to stop doing crap like this. Like this is the game on the line to go down 02 and your solution is a one-legged fadeaway over two people that you decide to pass out of. I mean, what is that? Last night, he finished with 13 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, and three steals on five of 19 shooting from the field, one of five from three. The poor shooting continues over from game one where yes, he had 23 points, and 16 rebounds, but he also had four turnovers to just six assists, and was seven of 23 from the field, four of 15 from beyond the ark. for the series. He’s averaging 18 and 16, which is great, but he’s almost got a negative assist to turnover ratio. And he’s shooting 29% from the field and 25% from three on 10 attempts, single-handedly shooting the Celtics out of it. Although, as a team, they haven’t been able to hit a shot either. During the regular season, they shot 37% as a team, compared to just 25 so far in this series. And until further notice, until he starts playing better, Jason Tatum will be called the Green Gooner on this channel from now on. Uh, now you got to get back to this. The bread and butter, the pick and roll, the high pick and roll, and just trusting Jason to make a play out of this. Carl Anthony Towns is without a doubt a mismatch in this scenario because he has to play drop coverage. Look how far off he is from Cat and he can close this distance at the snap of a finger, right? Or he can do this. He can pull up over Cat and hit the three at this point. I think it’s a confidence thing in the playoffs. Also, I really like this set right here by Joe Mazula getting Tatum going downhill. That’s what he needs to do. needs to call more sets like this to get his guys going downhill and not chuck off a 100,000 threes. This is a really nice action off of this pick and roll with Pritchard. So, as Pritchard drives now, Porzingis is going to go set a flare screen for Tatum and match up Mitchell Robinson on Jason Tatum. And Mitchell Robinson never quite got the memo that we’re going to switch that, right? And then here he comes off the screen again off the high pick and roll. Gives him a little in and out. And Cat is just too slow to be able to keep up with JT coming off of this pick and roll even though it’s a foul. Oh, Mr. I don’t know what the rest are looking at. And now as Cat backpedals, Jason Tatum just goes right by him off the in and out. Also, I like him getting into the post, especially when you can get the mismatch on to Brunson. If you get a mismatch on to Brunson, bro has got to go downhill. He’s got to stop pulling up from three over Brunson. Now, the counter move for the Knicks is to throw Mitchell Robinson out there, who was much, much better in the drop coverage. But that involves them going with a too big lineup, and you can’t do that. Tatum is 6’9, 215 lbs. He’s just got to get downhill and I think he will more so in game three. Like right here with Mitchell Robinson out there. He can’t be out there if you want to have efficient offense. That’s got to be where Cat comes in. So I think Jason Tatum’s going to chew that up because Cat can’t defend. Now another guy on a long list of guys for the Celtics that have to step up is Jaylen Brown. His performances have not been fantastic. Although he’s averaging more points than Tatum. He put up 237 and five in game one with three turnovers. but he was 7 of 20 from the field and 1 of 10 from beyond the ark. And then in game two, he had 20 points, six rebounds, an assist, and two steals. But again, he was 8 for 23 from the field and two of seven from beyond the arc, which pushes his averages for this series to 21 points a game, six rebounds, three assists in 41 minutes. And if he was doing this efficiently, I would have no problem with it. The problem is that he is not doing it efficiently. He’s getting downhill. He’s take he took over the game for a portion in the second quarter last night, but the dude is shooting 35% from the field and 18% from three on seven attempts. Absolutely atrocious numbers for Jaylen Brown. And this has got to be fixed going forward if the Celtics are going to have a chance to come back from an O2 hole in this series. As you can see here, a large majority of the people that watch these videos are not subscribed to the channel. that you go ahead and fix that. And we’re going to continue down the list of guys that need to step up. Next up is Derrick White, who kind of shot him out of the game last night in the third quarter. He was like 0 for nine after he went three for his first four from beyond the arc last night. He’s shooting 34% from the field and 30% from three on almost 14 attempts per game this series. Uh, yes, he’s averaging 19 and a half points and 10 rebounds in 42 minutes, but he’s got to be better from beyond the arc because, yes, he heated up early in game two, and then he cooled down in a bad way. On the season, he averaged 16 and a half points, five boards, four and a half assist, and was the best three-point shooter on this team from a catch-and shoot perspective. And then he couldn’t hit nothing in the second half last night. Chris Stops is another guy I’m about over Chris Stops here in New York. I was a big Tangus Pingis fan, but he’s averaging 13.4 minutes per game because of some mystery illness that he can’t be on the floor for. I’m confused. This is the NBA playoffs, dude. You’re trying to go back to back. If this team doesn’t repeat, there’s a 99.9% chance that he gets broken up this off season. As a matter of fact, even if they do repeat, it’s probably getting broken up. And you’re playing 13 minutes a game in the second round because of a mystery illness. He’s probably not going to be a Celtic next year. As for Drew Holiday, he doesn’t get a pass either. Yes, he’s shooting 55% from the field, which is great, but 22% from three. Goodness gracious. The only Celtic that is shooting up to their regular season numbers, even remotely close to those, is Payton Pritchard, who own the series is averaging 11 points, three rebounds, and assist in 23 minutes per game. But he is shooting just 40% from the field. Now, yes, he’s shooting 36% from three on seven attempts, which we will take, but it’s not great. Uh Al Horford has also been 1 for 10 from Beyond the Ark. I refuse to believe that the Ageless Wonder is starting starting to finally fall off. But yeah, it’s happening. Jaylen Brunson absolutely put these dudes to bed last night. Same thing he did in game one. They’ve got to find somebody that will be able to go out there and get a bucket late in games, be able to be their closer. Jaylen Brown, Jason Tatum, neither one of those guys have been able to get it done so far in this series. And I’d like to believe that they will be getting it done going forward, but we’ll see. Like I said, I still have Celtics at this point, they got to win in seven because there’s no way they’re winning four in a row. Uh, three of which will be in Madison Square Garden. And yes, I’ve probably pissed off a lot of Knicks fans who have already clicked off this video. Um, but I’m taking Knicks or Celtics in seven. I don’t think the Knicks can close this series out. I don’t think there’s any way that you don’t think that the Celtics are the better team in this series. They’ve had, like I said, six quarters of dominant basketball and then two quarters of just ice cold not being able to shoot. The stats, the averages will correct themselves. They shoot 37% as a team. They’ve shot 25% so far in this series from three. And also, maybe Tingis Pingis can get right and be healthy for the rest of this series. That’s a huge if though, and it’s probably not going to happen. I also think you heard it here first. Derek White goes absolutely nuclear in game three in the Garden. Um Tatum, Jaylen Brown, they both start to play better as this series progresses because as much as people like to make fun of him and I even called him the green gooner earlier. Like these are two of the top 10 players in the NBA right now. Top 15 players in the NBA and Jason Tatum’s top five in my opinion. And I think he’s going to prove that to you as the Celtics dig themselves out of this O2 hole. By the way, the last team to blow an 02 series lead was the New York Knicks last year versus the Indiana Pacers. Take that how you may. Now, with that being said, that’s going to be it for today’s video. Thank you so much for watching. This video looks at the Boston Celtics and how they will be just fine after losing the first 2 games of the series vs the New York Knicks behind Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown

  1. We’re gonna be fine only losing by 1 both games and yes we shot 25-100 from 3 in both games if we shoot good than we’re perfectly fine

  2. I'm not worried because the celtics had a better away record than home record, let's not that go over our heads, these dudes came back form a 3-0 deficit against Miami a couple of years ago, let's not lose focus, let JT drop 50 at MSG

  3. If celtics just started pump faking or driving in any time a Knicks defender closes out on them instead of shooting a contested three they would’ve swept the Knicks lmao 😂

  4. As a Boston fan …😂 I need to hear this rn cause MANNN , how tf we blow 2 20 pt leads !!! Back 2 back

  5. Went straight to the comments. Heard you say before you go straight to the comment. Read the title of the vid. Then came right back to the comments to say that this is by FAR the most outrageous take I have EVER seen. If I had 100 petitions I would get this channel taken down. Words cannot describe how baffled I am right now

  6. no, they're not gonna be fine since they'll have to play 6, 7 games innecesarely… This series could have swept easily by Boston. In case to reach The Finals, all this extra games will make that Boston lose against a younger and fresher team like OKC. The season is over. SAVE THIS MESSAGE!

  7. I'm a huge Celtics fan and a JT fan, and I'm not super happy about this series. I mean damm, do we have to go up 40 in a game to keep a lead. I thought they would be unbeatable in the clutch now, but man, they have been shakey. My mind is so blown. I still hope they can get back in this series. The longer the series, the better for the Celtics. I'm definitely ready for an amazing Tatum performance and a win in game 3.
