So, could the Milwaukee Bucks be trading away Giannis and Ted Kmpo to the Houston Rockets this 2025 NBA offseason? Well, here in the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net. But this trade would see the Houston Rockets receiving Jiannis Dakmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks receiving Reed Shepard, Jabari Smith Jr., Cam Whitmore, a 2025 first round pick, a 2027 first round pick, and a 2031 first round draft pick. Now, in my personal opinion, this would of course be a lot for the Rockets to give up. Uh, but in my personal opinion, it’s kind of a move the Rockets have to make to first and foremost still be relevant in the Western Conference, but more importantly get over that hump and become a championship contender, which they failed to do so this past season. So, I definitely do think with the Bucks roster not looking great and speculation of Giannis potentially getting traded. If he was in fact on the trade market, I would expect the Rockets to be um in the market for his services. I think you can keep an eye on two names potentially going to the Rockets this off season. Uh that be that of course being Giannis and the other one being Kevin Durant. So, I think the Rockets are a team that aren’t desperate. That’s not the right word to describe them, but a team that is going to be pretty aggressive in upgrading their roster this off seasonason in regards to some star talent. So, I keep an eye on Giannis absolutely uh going to the Rockets as a potential blockbuster move in free agency. Now, if you’re the Bucks, this is definitely a reset for the franchise. You’re getting back three pretty solid young players. Um you can make the argument that Jaylen Green could be thrown into this mix as well. Uh but Reed Shepard of course, you know, a high draft pick not too long ago. Uh Jabari Smith Jr. Cam Whitmore. Uh similar situation there. You’re getting back some draft capital as well. The only thing is nothing crazy. Now, there is a chance of those Suns picks in 2025 and 2027. Could be something special, especially if this team does blow up their roster. As I mentioned before, Kevin Durant could be on his way out. Maybe a Devin Booker could be traded. So, if that’s the case, I would definitely be pretty bullish on both of those draft picks. But the 31 pick from Houston, nothing crazy, I would imagine. But I think if you’re the Rockets, you have to make a move of this caliber to become a legit championship contender. Other teams in the West are getting better. And if the Rockets fail to capitalize during this window, they may miss it completely. So, I love this trade a lot for the Rockets.
