The Suns Lost the Press Conference—Can They Still Win the Kevin Durant Trade?
Be careful what you wish for, cuz you just might get [Music] it. Hey, it’s another edition of Southwest Bias. And yeah, be careful what you wish for because you just might get it. I’m not going to be somebody on this program that gets indignant about things if it doesn’t warrant it. I’m not going to sit here and scream because that’s what’s going to get clicks or because that may be what’s expected. And and I think I’ve proven it in particular with this Brian Gregory hiring as general manager for the Phoenix Suns and and some of the approach that’s been taken since the end of the season. I’m not carrying water for anybody and if there’s something that needs to be called out, you’re damn right I’m going to do it. But I’m also going to take a look at things and try to be fair when it starts. And you’ve heard me on a previous episode say that I don’t care if the Suns win the press conference. I don’t care what happens when they go out there and bring out a new hire, whether it’s GM or the coach, to an extent, because you don’t have to win the press conference, but you can’t lose it in embarrassing fashion. And I feel like that’s what happened with Brian Gregory on Wednesday. I was in attendance and I came with an open mindset. I told you on the show, I want to hear what Brian Gregory’s plan is for this Phoenix Suns team before I judge it because most of us had no clue outside of, yeah, he coached in college at Dayton and Georgia Tech and was an assistant at Michigan State. Those were the things we knew, but most of us had never actually heard from Brian Gregory, let alone actually looked in the man’s eyes and shook his hand, right? And there were a lot of judgment and and fairly so because he’s an unconventional hireer. He’s a guy that has very little experience and a connection to the owner. So I understand why people had their opinions. But I decided I want to hear from him first before I pass any kind of judgment on him. Well, I heard from him on Wednesday and let’s just say it was underwhelming. In fact, it was one of the worst press conferences I’ve ever sat through in terms of the confidence level that you left with in the individual talking. I mean, heck, I’m a guy who sat through Mel’s last press conference sitting next to Gary Bman treating him like a toddler, making sure he didn’t say anything too stupid, right? And even this was kind of on par there. It’s not great when your general manager posts a double double in his opening press conference. He’s not a power forward yet. Somehow Brian Gregory did just that. He said the word alignment 23 times, the word identity 16 times. But what he never actually did was define what that means for him as a general manager, what he’s looking for. you know what he is hoping to accomplish. Now, I don’t need you to lay out the blueprint. We’re media. It’s fans. I don’t you don’t have to tell me we’re going after X, Y, and Z this off season. This is the list of coaches. This is the exact timetable. I don’t want that. But I want some explanation about what is alignment actually mean. Why was it a problem over the first two seasons that you were part of the organization? And why do you feel it’s so important to actually get everything in alignment? And then what does the identity of this team and your mind need to be? And I’ve heard the word gritty. And I know we talked a little bit more about playing defense or playing with some joy. Those are characteristics though. I don’t take that as the identity that you want your entire organization to be. And you can tell me I want it to be like the Michigan State Spartans, and that’s all well and good, but I need to know what that means and why it works on an NBA standpoint. I I don’t fully grasp why that was so difficult to express, so difficult to come out with confidence and say, "This is what I’m trying to accomplish in Phoenix." That’s all people were hoping to hear to give a little confidence in what that vision for the future is to make it very clear that you are aware of what that future is. And we were sold that this guy is a leader of men and that’s why he was put in this position and he very well may be. I did talk to one of his former players from Dayton who told me he’s never seen a guy as as good as Gregory at building a structure and getting a group together that works cohesively and putting together a vision. There’s that word that he said too that makes sense for a team. And this is somebody that also worked in college basketball programs after it and said he tried to emulate what Gregory did at Dayton. And that’s great. And maybe that is part of what this Suns team needs is that singular voice on the basketball operation side to put it together and build things. But what’s concerning is Brian Gregory has never negotiated a contract. Brian Gregory’s never negotiated a trade. He’s never done the things that are going to be so important over the next four months for this Suns team. The next four months define the next 5 to 10 years for this franchise. If you choose to trade Kevin Durant, which we all believe you do, that deal is going to set the foundation of what this team is. And I don’t think any of us left Wednesday’s press conference feeling better that Brian Gregory is the guy to accomplish that. In fact, the biggest concern was that he’s simply going to be a yes man for owner Matt Ishbia. and he said the quiet part out loud quite frankly that he reports directly to Matt Ishbia that they are in alignment in exactly what the plan is and how to execute it. To me, it just validated the concern of fans and some other media members that Brian Gregory may simply be a rubber stamp for whatever Matt Ishpia wants to accomplish. And you can debate whether that’s good or not. I’ve talked about how I don’t believe that owners should be meddling, but some people don’t have a problem with that. I do. But one thing’s for sure is this is officially now Matt Ishbia’s team. There’s no fall guy. There’s no this guy’s been here before. Matt Ishbia has cleaned house and literally put his guys in place. If there’s pure alignment from top to bottom, like Gregory wanted to talk about at that press conference, that means that the buck doesn’t stop with Brian Gregory like he brought up. The buck stops at Matt Ishbia because he’s the one that will have a massive say in what’s going to happen. He will be the final approval and in many ways seems like the guy that’s defining what that identity and vision is which means Brian Gregory is simply executing it. We all wanted change. We all thought things needed to be different and we all wanted to find out exactly who Matt Ishbia is as an owner and what this team will be moving forward. Be careful what you wish for, but you might just get it. But maybe that’s just my Southwest bias. Coming up on the other side of the break, Sierra Santos, Arizona’s own joins me from the MLB Network to talk about her career, how she became an MLB Network host, and what it was like to be part of the unveiling of the Dimeback Serpientes uniforms. Back to tell you about branded Bills. And I’ve told you I am a hat addict. My wife had to build a special place to hold all my hats in our home. I have over 60 hats and most of them have become branded bills because I simply love them. They’re comfortable, they’re high quality, and they have some of the most unique designs that you are going to find out there. But that’s not even the best part. They’re Arizona’s own. They’re out in Tempee. They just opened a brand new facility and I couldn’t be more excited to have them as part of my hat collection and as part of the PHNX family. If you’re looking for custom apparel and headwear, you’re not going to find better than branded bills. So, why don’t you try to find a way to get it as part of your collection and even get custom headwear for your company? You seen the PHNX hats? I’m either wearing them, it’s sitting on the desk, you know, it’s high quality if I’m putting it on this beautiful head. And you know what? I don’t have to worry about where the heck I’m going to get gas because I know I’m going to find a Circle K pretty much anywhere that I am. But the best part is I am an inner circle member. All I had to do was download their app, give them my phone number, and now I get some of the most primo deals in all the valley when I go to Circle K. Uh when you first sign up, you’re going to get 25 cents off your first five fillups. That’s per gallon. Then you’re going 3 cents per gallon off moving forward. And then once you reach to that sweet, sweet Espo level, you’re getting five cents off from there. But that’s not all. They’re going to hit you up with deals that you can’t, you know, refuse. It’s like a godfather offer that comes in email when they’re like, "You want you want a free drink? You want a free Polar Pop? You want an extra 15 cents off per gallon for your next fillup? We got you covered." Circle K’s inner circle is one of the best things I’ve ever joined, and you should do it, too. Download the Circle K app today. Uh, sign up for free. MLB Network. Uh, you know, you’ve been you’ve been here in town working. You’re an ASU alum. Really glad to have you here at PHNX and on Southwest. Thank you for having me. I got a little lost. I’m sorry about that. Oh, well, everybody does. Even even though we’re centrally located, we’re in the weirdest building in downtown. So, uh, you’re not the first. You won’t be the last. All right. I don’t feel so bad. So, obviously people know that you’re at MLB Network now, but I want to take a step back to you grew up here in the valley, but and I read in an interview that you said that local sports kind of helped save you a little bit. I mean, are you What does it mean to now be able to be involved in a project like the City Connect uniform knowing what sports means to you and how it helped you along the way? No, I mean like I I’ve said before that I kind of I was such a bad kid. I was such a bad kid and my dad hates it when I say that, but I was basically after everything was said and done, I bas I was ground I was grounded. Like my dad was like, "You’re not using the car. You’re not doing any of that." And he would wake me up 8 a.m. every single morning and we would read the sports page together. And at that time, it’s summertime. What What is on Diamondbacks games? So every day I would check the standings, watch Diamondbacks games. It got me through that summer and it was kind of that was also during the Suns era where it was Steve Nash, Amari Sodtomire, Shawn Marian and I had begged my dad to get season tickets and he finally broke down not that season but the season after and we got a half season package and after we went to that first half of the games I was like I want to go to games for the rest of my life and I enrolled in Scottsdale Community College got a 4.0 You know, you know, uh, and so you were a fighting artich joke then. I am. You I guess you always you always are, right? I am. Uh, and we I I went from there to the Walter Kronhite School of Journalism, Mass Communication. Just a little backstory. So to be able to represent not just the city, but the entire state and be able to wear this jersey and to be the one to be a part of the the launch, the drop, it meant everything to me. When I got the call from Casey Wilcox from the Diamondbacks asking if I was interested, I was like interested. I’m in. I like stop. Like I I he he’s like, you know, I just want to make sure it would I’m like I will clear my schedule out. Um so I’m no longer available from these days. But I I was I cried like after I got off the phone with him. It was such a special moment for me. And then when they were developing the concept behind it and showing me, you know, this is what we’re thinking and the the vignettes and the montages, all that to when they finally sent me the the mockup for the jersey. I I see, look, I just got chills and it was embargoed. They’re like, "You can’t share this with anyone." And I’m like, "How?" Like I It was so It was It was the hardest secret I’ve ever kept. And so then having the video drop and everything that has um come come like everything after that just the reception that it it’s gotten from fans from other people in media. It’s been so cool. That was a very long answer. That is perfectly fine and we’ve got all the time in the world. But so what was it like filming that video and getting to stand on the pitcher mound and knowing you know when you say lights that that comes like that’s got to be crazy for a kid that that grew up watching that team. So I that the whole lights thing that wasn’t scripted. That was improvd. Like we they had that idea as we’re on the mound. So it wasn’t it was just planning to be uh dark and lights uh just me illuminated on the mound and then somebody had the idea to all of a sudden shoot the studio lights or shoot the um stadium lights on as I was saying it. And so I’ll give you Hold on. Let me see. Oh, I don’t know where my phone is. So, like somebody’s literally on the phone like trying to cue them because it takes a second when the when the lights switch on. So, he’s like he’s as soon as they hit like a keyword. He’s like go go go into the phone and then they switch lights. It took it took maybe it took a lot of tries. I don’t want to say it to I mean it was like six or seven. They’re like, "We’re so sorry." I’m like, "Dude, I’m here all day." Like, you’re fine. Uh but the shooting it was awesome. Getting to meet everyone in the DB Debbacks organization that I don’t normally see was also so cool. And one of the best things was everyone saying to me how appreciative they are that I represent the Diamondbacks on MLB Network because I’m I don’t want to say I’m the only one, but I’m kind of like the only one like that. that’s like a super fan of the Dbacks and they said it’s so cool to see somebody on the national scale, always repping us, always giving us love, uh getting excited about, you know, what’s happening within the organization from something as little as the AU Henos bobblehead. I’m like, "Oh my god, I can’t wait to get one." So, it’s it it was awesome. And somebody asked me about the the uh you know, the like cantina scene. Mhm. They were like, "Were those your friends?" I’m like, "I did not know those people. Those were my fake friends, but they are now my homies for life and we are we’re best friends essentially." I mean, it was such good acting. We all just assumed that was family and friends. Oh, no. No. Um, my family and friends were all unavailable that day. So, they found me fake friends. And it was But they were They’re younger than me, right? They also work within the organization. But the cool part was they also recognized like, hey, like you give the Dback so much love. Thank you so much. But it was also so cool because growing up here, not a lot of people were from here. Yep. And now you’re seeing like the Arizona born and bred sports fans and like I got chills again. It just it’s so cool. Yeah, it really is. I mean, I’m I was kind of that first generation. My parents came from the east coast and my dad was a New York Jets and you know New York Yankees fan and you know I embraced all the teams out here and it’s really cool like you’re saying I’m now I have an 8-year-old daughter at home that I’m raising as an Arizona sports fan and it’s cool to to have kind of that next generation. Who’s Wait, so who’s her favorite Dex player? She’s not into baseball yet. I hate to admit it. I’m working on baseball. She’s got a she’s got she’s got she’s got a she’s got this tough attention span. She’s all into the Mercury right now. We gonna have to work on that. We are. She’s all into the Mercury right now. Okay. I love that. Very disappointed that BG and and Diana are gone. I know I’m trying to help her find a new favorite player, but but we’re working her into baseball. It will come around. I promise you that. All right. So So you go from working in local markets and being out here at Fox 10 to being on the national stage. What is it? What is it like to walk in there and and be part of MLB Network and NHL Network and know you’re now seen across the country by sports fans? Uh, a lot of pressure. I don’t think I ate the first like three months I was there. I would bring my dinner every day and then I just didn’t eat it. Uh, because I was so nervous and you just don’t want to f up. And I think that there is there it takes a while to get comfortable and then once you get comfortable is when you can really let your personality shine through which is I think one of the biggest reasons why I would went from quick pitch to intentional talk because I was able to showcase some of myself during quick pitch but it’s just a different type of hosting when you’re working with other people. And I mean I when you get to vibe and mesh off of people, it brings a different type of energy. Yeah. What what is intentional, you know, talk like for you? Because you’re you’re kind of the ring master of the circus there in a lot of ways, right? Sometimes I go off the walls, too. But it’s it’s the best. Like people ask me all the time, is Kevin Malar as crazy as he is on TV in person? And I always say, "No, he’s worse." He’s a million time. No, Marar’s a million times worse. Demp is They’re like my big brothers. Both of them are. And it’s the chemistry you see between us that if you can feel it on screen, it’s reflected easily in our group chat. And you know, a lot of things can’t ever make it out that group chat. Um things we say or little memes we drop in. But we if it feels like it’s fun, it’s because we do have fun. And then when we’re we don’t get to be all together that often. But when we are all in the same room doing the shoot show together, it’s so fun. It’s the It’s the funnest show I’ve ever done and I’m just I’m so thankful to be on it. It’s the longest running talk show on MLB Network. Uh there’s the joke, you know, MLB now is for the thinking fan and we’re for the drinking fan. And that’s what we are here too. We’re for the drinking fans. Where’s my beer? We’ve got them over in the fridge. I I should have cracked one open for you. I mean, I thought you’d never ask. So, it’s it’s the fun. I think that we’re the best show on the network. Obviously, I’m going to say that, but I think we’re the best show on the network because we have the most fun and players absolutely love coming on our show because we showcase their personalities. We talk about everything off the field. We ask Max like two baseball questions, you know, and then we get into the stuff about their lives and it’s just fun. And I mean, there’s some guys that, you know, maybe they don’t have a big personality and you find that out real quick. Yeah. You you pivot back to those baseball questions uh faster than you ever imagine. I’ve had that happen a few times. So, how about that double on Wednesday, sir? Oh. Oh, great. Well, uh that’s been fun. Thanks for joining us. We got an extra five minutes to fill now. Yeah. No, no dude, no. They most most of the time we can still get by. Sometimes they’re nervous or they’re shy or they’ve never, you know, sometimes we’re the we’re the player’s first national interview. Yeah. And that’s always fun. When we had like Ellie de la Cruz on and he was it was his first national interview, it it’s a big deal. It’s a big deal for them and it’s a big deal for us. Do do you think being bilingual helps in some of these situations with players where you can kind of get them a little bit more comfortable? Yes. And sometimes it’s so intimidating. I we had Bartolo Cologne on Big Sexy. Mhm. And he was supposed to come with the translator and then he he’s like no I don’t have a translator. He’s like he’s like can you translate for me? I was like I guess I’m like I have to translate for Big Sexy. Like oh I don’t know if I can do this. And but I I did it. I I think sometimes when I’m just thrown into it and I have less uh time to kind of think about it because live translating is difficult. I’m sure it’s tough enough to listen let alone listen and then relay what it is. Exactly. And so when he was like he’s like I’m like thanks like I was so excited about it. But it it it helps. And there’s a certain type of I think also it’s not just being bilingual, but also culturally aware. Like you know that Venezuelans, they don’t eat tacos. You know what I mean? Like I think there’s a cultural awareness too that follows with that. Yeah. What’s the craziest answer you’ve gotten to a non- baseball question on the show? Lars Nar. Lars Nupar. We asked him, we do a thing at the end of it when we’re doing our interviews and it’s like it’s called Secret Santos. They have to reveal a secret about themselves that nobody knows. He goes into this story about this blue Snuggie that he still owns. And he’s like, "Well, one day I was really sick and I stayed home from school and I think he said their cleaner was there. I don’t know." Anyway, he mistook he mistook a fart. And the fact that he sharted in the Snuggie and he is a grown ass man now and still has it is absolutely criminal. And and the fact that that’s the secret he decided to divulge on national television. He He went with it. He went with it. And we were just like, whoa. Okay. Like I think that’s the probably one of the craziest answers. I’m trying to think of something else. I don’t know. Have you ever had to do you pre-tape these in a lot? Have you ever had to cut something out because of a crazy secret? No. Maybe that’s airing. If you say something weird, if you say something embarrassing No, that’s front and center. We’re cutting that for a promo. I love it. Uh, so you’re actually going to be doing the show from Chase Field on Friday, right? Yeah. So, we’re doing it live from Ballpark Cam 1 PM Arizona time. I’m like trying to get the hours right. 1 p.m. Arizona time. Um, and being on location is always fun. I was I actually did it from Ballpark Cam when I was shooting the video and we had Tori on and everything. Nice. And I mean, Tori, what a man. Oh, and the best great great quote, too. He’s the best. I I So when I my last day at Fox 10, I was covering a spring training game. I think it was in surprise. And he Casey walks me in his office. He’s like, "Sar got a job at MLB Network, blah blah." She’s leaving us. And Tori gave me a big hug and he takes me by the shoulders. He’s like, "You’re always going to be our Arizona girl. Go out there and do us proud." And I’m like, "Okay, Tori." So, it’s just when you have a manager like that that’s so warm and he he talks about about like loving on his players, right? And I think that you also see that and it’s it’s it seeps into the clubhouse culture. Makes sense. Yeah. All right. So, we have a new segment on the show that I’m just starting now. Okay. It’s called Santos Secrets, and you have to divulge a secret here yourself. If you’re gonna put these poor players through it, I’m gonna I’m gonna turn the tables uh and make you divulge something here uh you know that nobody knows something fair. You don’t have to go. Should I do the space? Should I do the Yeah. Okay. Al’s sitting over here. She’s looking for consult over here to to find out what she should say. So, I really love space. Really? Uhhuh. And I think when I was like nine or 10, I That’s so nerdy. I went to space camp. There’s nothing nerdy about that. That’s my daughter right now. I appreciate that. Did you send her to Space Camp, though? I I would like to. I uh I’m He’s like, I’d like to shoot her into space. Hold on. You You work in media. You know, it’s going to take me a little while to save up the money to be able to send her to Space Camp. I’m trying to think of that. That’s not like that juicy. Um, I’m I’m trying to think of something juicier that won’t get me in big big trouble. Um, I was a certified Zumba instructor. Okay, that’s fun. I actually I worked for the National Academy of Sports Medicine and worked with the certifying Zumba instructors. So, do you Zumba? I do not. I have I have Here’s my secret. I have no ability to move whatsoever. That’s not true. No, it’s 100%. That’s not true. That’s not true. The fact that I have a child is unbelievable with my lack of ability to move is what I’m saying. It’s ridiculous. So, I’m trying to think. I I I’ll give you those two. Those are those are good. We’ll we’ll allow it. Uh anything anything you want anybody to know in terms of what you got coming up on MLB Network or any final thoughts on uh on being involved in the Serpientes uh unveil? Uh, just I’m so happy that fans have bought into this and that they’re excited about it. I just saw Zack Gallon on the field a couple minutes ago and I was like, "Yo, like he’s like he’s like, "What up?" He’s like, "Yo." He said, "I love the purple." And I’m like, "Me too." He’s like, "No, purple’s my favorite color." I’m like, "Yes." I So, so if he resigns, it’s because of you. Obviously, the purple. No. Uh, we want Zach to stay in Arizona. You know what I’m saying? But it it was just everyone from players to fans to people that really aren’t even into baseball that reached out and were like, "Those jerseys are sick." Um, it makes me so happy and I just I want every I mean, I’m I’m I don’t work for the team. I’m not getting a commission, but you should like go buy one. I mean, like they are dope. You need to work with the agent and get a commission. I mean, that seems like the the way to go about it, but I won’t tell you. Are you available? No. No. I would be the worst lawyer in the world. All right, we can cut this if I’m wrong on this. And you know, but did you try out to be the Phoenix Suns social media sideline reporter? I 100% did. I’m pretty sure that was the first time we met. We This first time we met, I did and I didn’t get it. Thanks, Espo. Look, I I’ve never told this story. I was actually supposed to be it and then they decided not to give it to me. Hey, we both and have me and have me be part of the selection process for the person I was going to be. That’s cold. Yeah, that’s so cool. When I took the job as social media manager, they’re like, "You’re going to be the social media sideline reporter, too." And then 3 months later, they’re like, "But you’re not going to be and you’re going to help us choose who’s going to be." So Oh, dirty. Yeah. So, we were in the same boat there. Dirty. No, I didn’t get I didn’t get selected for that. But you know what? It’s fine. It all set me on the rest of the trajectory to get where I am today if I would have been the son’s social media sideline reporter. I No, you would have had to work with me and it would have destroyed your career. Ask anybody around. Hated me for taking your job. No, I I wouldn’t. I at that point I I hated everybody else for taking it from me. She Sierra Santos, I really appreciate you joining me. And uh yeah, sorry again. I didn’t get you that job. No, I Hey, it was all for the best. Look at where we’re at now. Look at where you are. Big thanks to Sierra Santos for joining us on the program. And I want to wrap it up today as I like to with something a little bit more fun. I have it’s not a full tinfoil hat conspiracy theory here. So I’m not going to bust out the tinfoil hat. We’re not going to play the music. That’s not going to happen. But on Thursday, the Catholic Church named a new pope. He was a cardinal from Chicago. It’s one of the biggest upsets ever. An American from Chicago becoming Pope. A Chicago Cardinal getting the biggest win since 1947. All right, for those of you that don’t get my joke, the Arizona Cardinals used to call St. Louis home, but before that, they were the Chicago Cardinals, and that was the last time that they won an NFL championship in 1947. This iteration of the Arizona Cardinals has gotten massive praise for what they did during the draft and how they filled some of their holes since last season. Some people even suggesting, myself included, that they could be a dark horse to win the NFC West. But if a Chicago Cardinal can pull off one of the biggest upsets and win like that team in 1947 did, maybe there’s something special in the air for the Arizona Cardinals this year. Maybe somebody’s on their side. Now, I’m not a big believer in in that necessarily. I’m not a big believer in special uh tokens that can help a team win or you know breaking curses in a certain way. But you know what? Maybe, just maybe, this is a good sign for the Arizona Cardinals that an upset in their sport could happen as well. Maybe we could see a championship in the desert, but maybe not. It’s probably insane. It’s probably drawing too many lines to something that has no connection whatsoever. But it was just a thought of mine as the world was talking about a new pope being elected. Bet you didn’t think I’d talk about that on today’s edition of Southwest Bias, did you? Well, another big thanks to Sierra Santos from MLB Network. You can catch her on her show, Intentional Pitch on today, Friday, live from the Diamondbacks Ballpark, Chase Field. But you can also catch her every weekday on the program as well. So we really appreciate her joining. Big thanks to Eritton behind the Mac. He doesn’t have a mustache, but he still can produce pretty well. You can follow me at Espo. You can follow the show at PHNX_ports on all your socials. And until next time, hoy hoy. [Applause] [Music]
The Phoenix Suns introduced new GM Brian Gregory but after a shaky press conference, fans and analysts are asking tough questions. Did the Suns lose the narrative before even stepping on the court? And can they win a Kevin Durant trade with Gregory at the helm?
Plus, MLB Network’s Siera Santos stops by to talk about her journey from Arizona to the national stage, what it is like to be the face of the new Diamondbacks City Connect uniforms and what her biggest secret is.

As someone who's been in the corporate world for a little while now, that press conference was a nightmare of buzzwords and jargon. Maybe this dude really is gifted and the guy, but that was a world class exhibition in putting together a whole bunch of words that don't mean shit. All's no lost, at least we can slap "Aligned AF" on a t-shirt or something.
They should trade Beal instead Durant
Some of yall Suns fans too focused on trading Kevin Durant instead of BRADLEY BEAL!! Trade BEAL! I don’t care how just figure it out! Aggregate Beals contract and try to make a trade for Kuminga! That should be the focus as well as trading Allen, and Royce! As far as Gregory, horrible press conference, but my last judgment on him is this summer!! I don’t want to hear that we have a good roster and player development bullshit bring in real talent!!!
l feel so aligned today lmao
he talked for 40 minutes and said nothing
just a puppet for the owner?
I suppose now's not a good time to remind Suns faithful that the longest tenured and most successful GM this franchise has ever had… was the then-owner himself who promoted his son.
Perhaps this is what Mat gathered from talking to Jerry C about how to win this town over again.
Starts off the episode, "I'm not going to be like Erik"
