Between the Denver Nuggets and the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Denver Nuggets, they had that 10 series lead. They pulled off the upset in game one, but the uh the Thunder came back with a vengeance in game two, winning 149 to 106 and doing what the Thunder have done for a lot of the seasons, just overload, you know, the opposition. And, you know, that’s what they did to uh to Memphis a couple times in that first round series and then you you look and all of a sudden it’s 8756 at halftime in game two. And while you know the Nuggets did win the fourth quarter 30-25, it’s not like it got any better. I mean, it was 124-76 at the end of the third and it was, I said, 124 points. You know, a lot of teams don’t even reach in a full game or even a game and a half. And all of a sudden, the Thunder doing that once again to just blow the the Nuggets out of the water. And, you know, that was still, you know, a decent outing for uh for a couple of the you know, role players for the the Nuggets. You know, Russell Westbrook had 19 points. The problem is it was a team high 19 points and that means that Nicole Joic struggled. Six of 16, 17 points, eight boards, six assists. Sort of a very unookicike outing. But while one would think that maybe bounces back at home, I think that you’re still going to hear something from OKC. You know, SGA had 34 points, 11 of 13 shooting. A very efficient outing for him in that game. Chad Holing at 15 and 11. You had eight different Thunder players score in double figures in game two. And I think this is going to be a spot where the Thunder come out firing. I mean, the Thunder were one of the best first half teams in the NBA this season. And to be honest, I think that you’re getting a great price with the Thunder to come out firing again here. I think everybody’s expecting a response from the Nuggets. And while I do expect one as well, I think that that over the course of a full 48 minutes, they are a good enough team and a more and a complete enough team to be able to at least keep this one interesting and keep it hanging around. But part of me thinks that, you know, that the Thunder won’t want to come out slow, especially in the first game in Denver where the Nuggets have come out so strong for the better part of the season. They they’ve been one of the best home teams in the NBA for the better part of the last what, three, four years. So, I think that the Thunder know what they’re up against here and they come out and at least do well in the first half. You know, I think that, you know, like I said, I think you’re getting a a decent number with the Thunder in the first half. You’re only having to lay two points. So, I’m going to roll with the Thunder here, laying two in the first half, and that’s going to be my free pick.
