CLEVELAND CAVALIERS VS. INDIANA PACERS GAME 3 INSTANT REACTION

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS VS. INDIANA PACERS GAME 3 INSTANT REACTION

The Cleveland Cavaliers trailed the Indiana Pacers 2-0 heading into Game 3, but the Cavs were getting Darius Garland, Evan Mobley & DeAndre Hunter back from injuries.

How much of an impact would those three make on the outcome?

The clock is ticking on the Cavs’ historic season.

Down 0-2 in the Eastern Conference semifinals after dropping back-to-back games on their home floor, Cleveland now stares down a must-win Game 3 on enemy turf. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on ESPN, where the Pacers will look to push the top-seeded Cavs to the brink of elimination.

There’s no sugarcoating it — this is desperation time.

Only five teams in NBA history have rallied from a 2-0 hole after losing the first two games at home. None have ever come back from 3-0.

The Cavs aren’t just playing for survival — they’re fighting to keep one of the franchise’s most promising seasons from going up in smoke.

And they might have to do it shorthanded.

The availability of Darius Garland (toe), De’Andre Hunter (thumb), and Evan Mobley (ankle) remains in question after all three missed Game 2.

Their absences were glaring as Indiana once again turned the floor into a track meet, running Cleveland ragged with blistering pace, transition buckets and relentless tempo.

Tyrese Haliburton has been the head of the snake, but the Pacers’ energy has been infectious.

  1. They just need to sustain this kind of effort. The zone defense was a wrinkle that Indy was not ready for. Let’s see if we can introduce something else they aren’t ready for.

  2. You know man it’s weird. Feels like Donovan didn’t go too too wild until the 4th, but he still had 43 9 5. He has been a monster in the series

  3. Donovan was all time special tonight… just so much respect for his game and his will to win… if anyone questions his will to win anymore I might just punch him in the face

  4. CAVS IN 6

In all honesty the CAVS should be up 2-1 if they close game 2 like they have all year and we could've won game 1 as well

  5. I knew watching him during the regular season that the clock would strike midnight. The slipper has fallen off Ty Jerome. Doesn’t matter. Don’t need him. But I knew months ago this guy would shit down his leg in the playoffs. Don’t re sign him. Bye. Go Cavs.

  6. I love confidence. Ty Jerome might have that. But when you’re -15 and you’re just taking awful shots all the time? Yeah it’s time to sit down.

  8. Thanks for ALL your coverage guys! CLE born, living in CA for decades now. I tune in everyday, thanks for always representing !

  9. Trust this team like we have all year. First time playing at full strength and outside of a bad 4th quarter in game two. They've outplayed Indiana the last two games. Keep up the intensity Cavs. Let's go!!

  10. I swear, I don’t want to hear bull say Mitchell is not a top tier all star. He takes over like only a few other players can do in the league. Halliburton is overrated! Been saying it! Nesmith and newbhard play way better than him

  11. (Am i the only one who is disgusted by Carlisle spitting his chew spit in a cup every 2 seconds of the game??? It had to be on purpose. They showed Kenny like 5 times the entire game but we saw the spit fest like 100 times!!!!! TNT – NOBODY wants to see that! Jesus!)

  12. People, don't forget what we're talking about. A Cleveland team. The most foolish thing we can do is get our hopes up. We have all read this book a thousand times and we know how it ends. Whether or not you want to be delusional is up to you.
